On June 19, the 21st China Pharmaceutical Ingredients Exhibition (CPHI China 2023) and the 16th China Pharmaceutical Machinery, Packaging Equipment & Materials Exhibition (PMEC China 2023) kicked off with great fanfare at the Shanghai New International Expo Center (Pudong). The API Division of Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group and the group’s Boshi Medical Devices’ domestic and international sales teams made a stunning debut with their new products.

Safety First, Hardcore Competition—The Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group’s Safety Production Knowledge Contest Kicks Off with Great Enthusiasm.
To further enhance the safety awareness of all employees and promote the safe, stable, and healthy development of the company, Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group held a knowledge competition for “Safety Production Month” on June 14. After passing the preliminary written test, nine teams—each consisting of 27 employees who had been selected—stepped onto the stage with high spirits, ready to compete fiercely for the ultimate victory.
Wire stripping, wiring connections, electrical testing... On June 12, a special skills competition focused on electrician techniques and safety practices kicked off, with electricians from various workshops showcasing their expertise. Amidst an intense and competitive atmosphere, the contestants were fully immersed in the competition—sometimes holding their breath as they carefully tested equipment, other times calmly and confidently tying up wires. They meticulously performed insulation tests, tightened screws, and connected circuits, step by step completing the circuit wiring tasks required by the competition. Throughout the process, they demonstrated both their technical skills and adherence to safety principles with remarkable efficiency and precision. It is reported that this special skills competition is one of the series of events organized by the group as part of its “Safety Production Month.”

On April 27, the “Innovation • Leapfrogging • Future”—Shijiazhuang City Enterprise High-Quality Development Thematic Exhibition, jointly organized by the Shijiazhuang Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, the Municipal Enterprise Confederation, and the Municipal Entrepreneurs Association, opened at the Municipal People’s Hall. Li Zhihong, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People’s Congress and Chairman of the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, presided over the opening ceremony, which was attended by Vice Mayor Zhang Fengzhen. Shijiazhuang Siyao Group, as a representative of the biopharmaceutical industry, participated in this exhibition. The He Yazhuo Innovation Studio from Workshop 208 of the Group’s Manufacturing Center also exhibited as an innovative studio for artisan talents.

Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group Holds First-Quarter Summary and Awards Ceremony for R&D Work
April, with its vibrant blossoms, is truly a delightful season marked by the gentle warmth of the spring breeze. On the morning of April 22, the report hall of the R&D Center of Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical Group was filled with an atmosphere of enthusiasm and solemnity as the Group’s R&D Center held its 2023 First-Quarter Work Summary and Commendation Conference in grand style. Group leaders Qu Jiguang, Su Xuejun, Wu Hengyao, Shi Jianhui, Sun Lijie, Tian Pengmei, and other representatives from the Group’s R&D team gathered together to review the phased R&D innovation efforts made so far this year, analyze industry development trends from a broader perspective, and set forth priorities for future scientific research work at an even higher standard—thus further propelling the Group’s high-quality development to a new level and achieving new breakthroughs. The conference was hosted by the Group’s R&D Center.

As spring returns to the earth and all things are renewed, the 10th Session’s Third Congress of the Employee Representatives and Members’ Congress, along with the Group’s 2022 Advanced Workers’ Commendation Conference, was solemnly held on the morning of March 25 at Shijiazhuang Fourth Pharmaceutical. The members of the Presidium—Qu Jiguang, Su Xuejun, Wu Hengyao, Han Shuqin, Shi Jianhui, Meng Guo, Sun Lijie, Song Mingxia, and Wang Jie—sat at the presiding platform, joined by employee representatives, member representatives, and outstanding workers and producers from various workshops and departments across the Group. Together, they discussed development strategies, deliberated on major plans, and jointly drew up a blueprint for the Group’s innovative, green, and high-quality development. The conference was chaired by Wu Hengyao, President of the Group.

On March 10, Deng Xiaomei, Vice Chair of the Shijiazhuang Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), visited and conducted a research tour at Shijiazhuang Siyao Group, a member enterprise under her paired-connection arrangement. She also held a symposium and exchanged views with the expert talents and CPPCC members she is in contact with. Han Shuqin, a member of the Municipal CPPCC and Executive President of the Group, and Sun Lijie, Executive President of the Group and General Manager of the R&D Center, participated in the visit and symposium.

On the morning of February 27, in the hematopoietic stem cell collection room of the Third Hospital of Hebei Medical University, after more than five hours of collection, a young man born in the 2000s successfully donated 395 milliliters of hematopoietic stem cell suspension. These “seeds of life,” destined for distant recipients, carry with them profound love and the hope of renewed vitality. This young man from the 2000s is Lü Xiaolong, who works in the warehousing service department of Hebei Guangxiang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., part of Shijiazhuang Siyao Group. He is also the second employee from this group to successfully donate hematopoietic stem cells.

The first public notice regarding the environmental impact assessment for the 10,000 t/a pharmaceutical intermediate project of Cangzhou Lingang Youyi Chemical Co., Ltd. This public participation process for the EIA is conducted in accordance with the "Measures for Public Participation in Environmental Impact Assessment" issued by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment (effective January 1, 2019) and the relevant provisions of Document No. [2010] 238 issued by the Hebei Provincial Department of Environmental Protection—the "Notice on Further Strengthening Public Participation in Environmental Impact Assessments for Construction Projects."
