Before the research symposium, a delegation from the Party Committee’s Theoretical Study Center of China Pharmaceutical University conducted an on-site visit to the Group’s Institute of Pharmaceutical Research and paid a courtesy call on Chinese Pharmaceutical University students interning at the company.
During the research and symposium, Jin Nengming, Secretary of the Party Committee of China Pharmaceutical University, stated that at this critical juncture when advancing the thematic education in greater depth, the university’s Party Committee’s theoretical study group conducted an in-depth investigation and study visit to Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical, gaining a thorough understanding of the needs of innovative biopharmaceutical enterprises. He expressed his hope that, building on the previous point-to-point project collaborations, we could further promote deepened cooperation that combines both targeted efforts and broader initiatives, thereby fostering seamless integration between vocational education and higher education, industry and academia, and science and education. This would help us explore new, comprehensive and multi-dimensional models of cooperation, enhance the quality of independently cultivated talent, support the self-reliance and strength of pharmaceutical science and technology, and serve the pharmaceutical industry’s goal of achieving independent control and autonomy. Together, we can effectively address the contemporary challenge of “upholding the principle of putting the people and life first, and developing and producing more ‘Chinese medicines’ that are tailored to the genetic heritage and physical characteristics of the Chinese people.”
Hao Haiping, President of China Pharmaceutical University, pointed out that both universities and biomedical enterprises should study, implement, and carry out the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech delivered during his inspection of the Shijiazhuang International Biomedical Park Planning Exhibition Hall on May 12. We must adhere to the “four orientations” in scientific and technological innovation, take the overall development of the national biomedical industry as our guiding principle, deepen cooperation and promote closer integration in areas such as innovating university-enterprise collaboration models, enhancing the dimensions of innovation, strengthening talent cultivation, and advancing industry-academia-research collaboration. We should promptly and accurately align with actual needs, establish deepened cooperative relationships in terms of medium- and long-term planning, tiered layouts, and specialized cooperation fields, and jointly address critical technological bottlenecks and challenges that affect the security of the biomedical industrial chain.
Group Chairman Su Xuejun provided Jin Nengming, Hao Haiping, and their delegation with a detailed introduction to the company’s innovative development and strategic planning. He emphasized the importance of deepening the strategic partnership with China Pharmaceutical University, seizing new opportunities, exploring new avenues, and building new competitive advantages. Through practical and effective collaboration, the group aims to empower high-quality innovation and development for both the university and the enterprise, and to make its own contribution to the construction of a Healthy China.

He stated that in recent years, Shisi Pharmaceutical Group has taken transformation and upgrading as its main focus and vigorously implemented a strategy driven by technological innovation, continuously strengthening and expanding its competitive advantages in brand quality, scale, industrial chain integration, and market competitiveness. Shisi Pharmaceutical’s long-term and sustained development is inseparable from innovation in drugs, management, organizational structure, and strategy. China Pharmaceutical University enjoys inherent advantages in innovation and talent cultivation. He expressed his hope to engage in closer exchanges and cooperation with China Pharmaceutical University in areas such as establishing multi-level talent training mechanisms, promoting diversified technical exchanges, and fostering deep integration among industry, academia, research, and application through multiple channels.
At the symposium, both sides engaged in an in-depth exchange and discussion on such topics as deepening the collaborative talent-development model between universities and enterprises, advancing joint technological research, exploring innovative mechanisms and systems for university-enterprise integration, and further strengthening industry-academia-research cooperation.
