On January 20, the "10th China Pharmaceutical Industry Development Summit Forum Commemorating the 40th Anniversary of Reform and Opening-up and the 2018 Annual Meeting of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce Pharmaceutical Industry Chamber of Commerce" was held in Nanning, Guangxi. Organized by the Pharmaceutical Industry Chamber of Commerce of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, the event brought together industry leaders from across the country. As a standing director unit of the Pharmaceutical Industry Chamber of Commerce of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, our company was invited to participate in this forum.
On January 20, the “10th China Pharmaceutical Industry Development Summit Forum and 2018 Annual Meeting of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce Pharmaceutical Industry Chamber of Commerce,” hosted by the Pharmaceutical Industry Chamber of Commerce of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, was held in Nanning, Guangxi. As a standing director unit of the Pharmaceutical Industry Chamber of Commerce of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, our company was invited to participate in this forum, where we joined nearly 500 guests to discuss hot topics such as the current state and development of China’s economy over the past 40 years of reform and opening-up, the development of China’s pharmaceutical industry, the inheritance of traditional Chinese culture, and the role of multi-ethnic pharmaceutical development in boosting the Chinese medicine industry.
The pharmaceutical industry is a vital foundation for supporting the development of healthcare and the health services sector. It is a sunrise industry characterized by strong growth potential, extensive interconnections, and significant driving effects, playing a positive role in improving people’s livelihoods and stabilizing economic growth. The forum has invited State Council advisors, leaders from relevant national agencies, and renowned experts from the industry to provide guidance. Zhuang Congsheng, former Vice Chairman of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce and President of the China Association for Private Economic Research, stated that over the past four decades of reform and opening-up, our country has achieved remarkable global accomplishments in various fields—including economy, society, and culture. As the economy enters a “new normal,” entrepreneurs must also adapt their mindset, ways of thinking, production methods, and business models accordingly. Entrepreneurs must remain firmly confident, boost their spirits, keep striving relentlessly, dare to dream and take action, focus on building their core strengths, and continue to make their enterprises stronger and better.
Ren Dequan, former Deputy Director of the National Medical Products Administration, delivered a report titled “An Overview of China’s Pharmaceutical Industry Development Over the 40 Years of Reform and Opening-up,” which provided a detailed analysis of the tremendous transformations the Chinese pharmaceutical industry has undergone over the past four decades of reform and opening-up, as well as the new opportunities and challenges that lie ahead in the new era.
At the subsequent annual gala dinner, awards were presented by the China National Federation of Industry and Commerce Pharmaceutical Industry Chamber for 2018, including Star-rated Vice Chairpersons, Executive Directors, Directors, Members, as well as Outstanding Experts and Outstanding Branches. The company was honored with the title of “Star-rated Executive Director” for 2018.
