On December 12, the Hebei Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology released the second batch of 2018 list of R&D institutions for provincial industrial enterprises. The R&D center of Hebei Guolong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of our company, was recognized as a Class B R&D institution for provincial industrial enterprises.

Guolong Pharmaceutical is a pharmaceutical company primarily engaged in the production of specialty APIs and intermediates. In recent years, guided by the Group’s development strategy and adhering to the criteria for the recognition and management of R&D institutions in industrial enterprises—namely, “having personnel, facilities, equipment, funding, and projects”—Guolong Pharmaceutical has continuously increased its investment in scientific research and technological innovation. As a result, its innovation capabilities and levels have significantly improved, yielding numerous innovative achievements.
It is understood that the accreditation of R&D institutions for industrial enterprises in the province is conducted in accordance with the "Administrative Measures for the Accreditation of R&D Institutions of Industrial Enterprises in Hebei Province." The process involves voluntary applications by enterprises and approval by the competent authorities, and the accredited institutions are categorized into two types—self-built and jointly built—and are assigned to three levels: A, B, and C. The Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology publishes the list of accredited enterprise R&D institutions in batches and issues the "Hebei Province Enterprise R&D Institution Certificates" uniformly.
