On July 29, the Provincial Drug Administration and the Shijiazhuang Municipal Administration for Market Regulation held a symposium on supporting innovative development of the provincial capital’s pharmaceutical industry at Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. Qu Jiguang, Chairman of the Group’s Board of Directors, was invited to attend and deliver a speech.
To fully implement the spirit of the provincial Party committee and provincial government’s work conference on promoting the construction and development of the provincial capital, and to ensure the effective implementation of the “Several Measures (in effect) for Supporting the Pioneering Breakthroughs in the New Generation of Electronic Information Industry and the Biopharmaceutical Industry,” issued jointly by the General Office of the Shijiazhuang Municipal Party Committee and the General Office of the Shijiazhuang Municipal People’s Government, and to drive the pharmaceutical industry toward high-quality, leapfrog development, on July 29, the Provincial Drug Administration and the Shijiazhuang Municipal Market Supervision Administration convened a symposium on supporting innovative development of the provincial capital’s pharmaceutical industry at Shijiazhuang Siyao Co., Ltd.
Xu Yanzeng, Director of the Provincial Drug Administration, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Li Xun, Second-Level Inspector of the Provincial Drug Administration, chaired the meeting. Feng Suwei, Director of the Market Supervision Administration of Shijiazhuang City, and Wu Shuke, Deputy Director of the Shijiazhuang City Development and Reform Commission, also attended the meeting and spoke. Officials from relevant departments of the Provincial Drug Administration and the Shijiazhuang City Market Supervision Administration, along with heads of 13 pharmaceutical, medical device, and cosmetic manufacturing enterprises based in the provincial capital, participated in the symposium.
At the symposium, Wu Shuke, Deputy Director of the Shijiazhuang Municipal Development and Reform Commission, provided an interpretation of Shijiazhuang’s “Several Measures to Support the Pioneering Breakthroughs in the New Generation of Electronic Information Industry and the Biopharmaceutical Industry.”
Leaders from 13 participating companies—including Shijiazhuang Fourth Pharmaceutical, North China Pharmaceutical, Shiyao Group, Yiling Pharmaceutical, and Shenwei Pharmaceutical—spoke in turn, offering suggestions and recommendations on accelerating the implementation of the “Several Measures,” building on the new stage of development, and further boosting enterprises’ pace of growth as well as the innovative development of the provincial capital’s pharmaceutical industry.
Xu Yanzeng, Feng Suwei, and others listened carefully to the companies’ presentations, asked detailed questions about relevant matters, and engaged in in-depth discussions with everyone on various issues from time to time. The atmosphere at the scene was warm and lively.
After listening to the suggestions and opinions put forward by the heads of enterprises, Xu Yanzeng stated that the Provincial Drug Administration will carefully sort through and analyze these comments and proposals, do everything possible to address the difficulties and problems faced by enterprises, and actively create a business environment that is convenient for the public and beneficial to enterprises, thereby better serving businesses and promoting the development of the pharmaceutical industry in the provincial capital and across the entire province. Xu Yanzeng pointed out that drug regulatory authorities at both the provincial and municipal levels will, as always, encourage and support enterprises in seizing the development opportunities brought about by major policies and measures, strive to achieve significant breakthroughs in areas of strength, common technologies, and critical technologies, and make every effort to contribute to the pioneering breakthroughs of the provincial capital’s biopharmaceutical industry. Xu Yanzeng urged pharmaceutical companies to unswervingly pursue the path of reform and innovation, increase investment in research and development, overcome a number of “bottleneck” key technologies, and actively promote product innovation, technological innovation, and market innovation. Relying on high-quality products and excellent services, companies should swiftly capture market share and enhance their core competitiveness. It is essential to solidify the two cornerstones of safety and development, consistently ensure product quality, embrace the concept of green development, and lay a robust foundation for achieving high-quality enterprise development.
Feng Suwei stated that the Shijiazhuang Municipal Market Supervision Administration will carefully review enterprises’ opinions and suggestions, refine and improve supporting documents such as the “Detailed Rules for Rewarding Qualification Recognition of Leading Industry Enterprises in Expanding Domestic and International Markets” and the “Implementation Details for the Recognition of Innovative Drugs, Generic Drugs, and Medical Devices.” The administration will further establish robust communication platforms, keep channels of communication open, continuously strengthen its ties with enterprises, fully leverage the functional advantages of the market supervision authorities, address enterprises’ needs, and inject strong momentum into promoting their high-quality development.
