Recently, Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. was awarded the title of “Advanced Private Enterprise in the Fight Against the COVID-19 Pandemic” by the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce.
In its briefing, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce pointed out that, in the arduous fight against the epidemic, the vast majority of private enterprises have fully leveraged their own strengths and actively fulfilled their social responsibilities. They have participated enthusiastically in the people’s war against the epidemic through various means, including making donations of money and materials, organizing the conversion and resumption of production, sourcing pandemic prevention supplies globally, and directly joining the frontline of epidemic control. These efforts have not only provided strong material support for epidemic prevention and control but have also made significant contributions to solidly implementing the “six stabilizations” and fulfilling the “six guarantees” tasks, thereby promoting economic and social development.
Since the beginning of this year, in response to the sudden outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical has heeded the call of the Party Central Committee, united as one, and actively thrown itself into epidemic prevention and control. With a strong sense of mission and responsibility, the company has overcome numerous difficulties by organizing its employees to work overtime and increase production of antiviral drugs, disinfectants, and other hygiene and sterilization products. At the earliest possible moment, it dispatched antiviral and antibacterial medications—including abidol hydrochloride capsules, moxifloxacin hydrochloride sodium injection, and levofloxacin lactate injection—to Wuhan and Hubei Province, making every effort to ensure the supply of anti-epidemic materials. The company was among the first pharmaceutical enterprises in Hebei Province to provide assistance.
During the pandemic, Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical Company provided over 30,000 items of medicines to Hubei Province, including Abidol Hydrochloride capsules and Moxifloxacin Hydrochloride Sodium Injection. At the same time, the company donated medicines and made financial contributions totaling approximately 3 million yuan to designated hospitals for epidemic prevention and control in Wuhan, the Shennongjia Forestry District, and medical personnel aiding Hubei. Additionally, the company supplied 410,000 bottles (or containers) of disinfectant to Beijing and Tianjin. The company successfully fulfilled its national, provincial, and municipal responsibilities in ensuring the supply of anti-epidemic medicines and materials, earning high praise from relevant authorities.
