I. Name and Overview of the Construction Project
Upon completion, this project will have an annual production capacity of 12 tons of moxifloxacin hydrochloride, 5 tons of abidol hydrochloride, and 5 tons of bromhexine hydrochloride. It is a renovation and expansion project located at the southeast corner of the intersection of Xingye Street and Three Gorges Road in the Shijiazhuang Bio-Industry Base, within the Shijiazhuang Economic and Technological Development Zone. The project will utilize the third floor of the already completed active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) workshop to construct two production lines, covering an area of approximately 700 square meters. Additionally, the existing wastewater treatment plant will undergo an upgrade and renovation, which, once completed, will significantly improve the quality of the effluent water. Hebei Guolong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. currently has an annual production capacity of 500 tons for the hydroxyethyl starch series and 100 tons for azithromycin. The ongoing project is the New Formulation and Biopharmaceutical Industry Park Project (Phase I). Since a new wastewater treatment plant is being built as part of the ongoing project, the existing wastewater treatment plant will no longer be upgraded or renovated.
