On November 28, at the 2020 Shijiazhuang Top 100 Enterprises Summit, the “2020 Shijiazhuang Top 100 Enterprises” list was officially released and plaques were presented to the respective companies. Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical made the list, ranking 16th.
The 2020 Top 100 Enterprises in Shijiazhuang were ranked based on international practices and the ranking methodology used by the China Federation of Enterprises and the China Entrepreneurs Association for the Top 500 Chinese Enterprises—adhering to the principles of “primarily focusing on industrial enterprises, giving priority to local enterprises, and voluntary self-reporting”—and taking into account recommendations from economic management departments of relevant counties (cities) and districts. The ranking was determined using each enterprise’s 2019 revenue as the primary criterion.
The 2020 Economic Analysis Report on the Top 100 Enterprises in Shijiazhuang City points out that in 2019, the city’s large enterprises—represented by the Top 100—diligently implemented the new development philosophy, proactively addressed risks and challenges, actively promoted transformation and upgrading, fostered the growth of new drivers of development, and maintained a steady development trend, continuing to take firm steps toward strengthening and optimizing their operations. In terms of operating revenue, the total revenue of the Top 100 enterprises reached 525.565 billion yuan, an increase of 36.978 billion yuan from last year’s 488.587 billion yuan, representing a growth rate of 7.57%. Among them, the top 16 enterprises in the Top 100 achieved an operating revenue of 431.629 billion yuan, up 36.329 billion yuan from last year’s 395.3 billion yuan—a growth rate of 9.2%. The four major industries—pharmaceuticals, metallurgy and steel, construction materials, and petrochemicals—are the “four pillar industries” that make the largest contributions to Shijiazhuang’s fiscal revenue. At the same time, it is evident that these large enterprises are enjoying healthy development and steady growth, playing an irreplaceable role as the backbone and leading force driving the city’s economic development. Shijiazhuang Siyao, as a key industrial enterprise in the city, has vigorously implemented a diversified innovation-driven strategy, significantly enhancing its corporate scale, innovation capabilities, brand influence, and market competitiveness, thereby becoming a leading enterprise in China’s large-volume parenteral solutions industry in terms of production, R&D, and exports.
The analysis report points out, “The past year has been an extraordinary one. Shijiazhuang’s top 100 enterprises have withstood severe tests and challenges. According to relevant data, the growth and expansion of these top 100 enterprises are of great significance for adapting to the ever-changing new economic landscape, accelerating the construction of a ‘4+4’ modern industrial framework, and promoting high-quality economic development.”
