The No. 102 Oral Preparations Workshop of Shijiazhuang Fourth Pharmaceutical has gained widespread recognition for its production of the antiviral drug abidol hydrochloride capsules. Shijiazhuang Fourth Pharmaceutical is one of only five pharmaceutical companies in China licensed to manufacture abidol preparations, and this product has played a positive role on the front lines of epidemic prevention and control. Since January 24—the eve of the Lunar New Year—employees at the workshop have been working tirelessly to produce abidol hydrochloride capsules as well as urgently needed anti-epidemic drugs such as traditional Chinese medicine oral solutions for clearing heat and detoxifying, and Yiqing granules.
