Six products manufactured by Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.—Abidol hydrochloride, moxifloxacin hydrochloride sodium chloride injection, azithromycin, levofloxacin lactate injection, sodium bicarbonate injection, and sterile water for injection—have been included in the drug reserve lists of 12 provinces during this epidemic prevention and control effort. During the Spring Festival, the company swiftly mobilized its core personnel to organize production and, in response to requests for supplies from Wuhan and other areas in Hubei Province, arranged three consecutive shipments of products within just one week to provide full-scale support.

Xu Qin came here to gain a detailed understanding of the production capacity, reserves, and distribution of pharmaceuticals related to the fight against the epidemic. He expressed gratitude for the company’s swift response to the pandemic and its commitment to serving the greater good. He said, “Whatever Wuhan’s frontline防疫 efforts need, we will do our utmost to provide it—overcoming all difficulties, mobilizing every available resource, and going to great lengths to ensure the supply of key pharmaceuticals for epidemic prevention and control, thus addressing Wuhan’s urgent needs, Hubei’s urgent needs, and the nation’s urgent needs.”

Xu Qin emphasized that epidemic prevention and control is currently at a critical stage. All levels and departments must resolutely implement the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping, strengthen the “four consciousnesses,” firmly uphold the “four self-confidences,” and ensure “two safeguards,” placing the safety and health of the people’s lives first. We must firmly carry out the unified leadership and command of the Party Central Committee, and in accordance with the arrangements made by the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and other relevant departments, do a good job in ensuring the supply of key materials and providing comprehensive support. We need to accelerate the resumption of production at enterprises producing pharmaceuticals, masks, protective suits, and other essential supplies, expand production capacity as needed, and promptly coordinate to resolve difficulties related to funding, labor, energy, and supply-chain integration faced during the resumption of work and production. We must focus on optimizing transportation, keeping logistics channels open, establishing and improving green channels for the supply of critical materials, and implementing the nationwide unified requirements for production, dispatch, and distribution, thereby making Hebei’s contribution to winning the battle against the epidemic.
