She emphasized that it is essential to earnestly implement the decisions and deployments of the provincial Party committee and provincial government, raise political awareness, strengthen work initiatives, and make every effort to ensure an adequate supply of medicines and daily necessities. Additionally, she called for enhanced production, stockpiling, and distribution of epidemic prevention materials, and stressed the need to resolutely win the battle against the epidemic.
Following the arrangements and deployment of the provincial Party committee and provincial government, enterprises such as Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical have stepped up production, while enterprises like Beiguo Supermarket and Shenwei Pharmacy have actively mobilized supplies. Market supply has now returned to normal, protective materials are being gradually put on shelves, prices remain stable, and airport customs has provided proactive services to ensure “green clearance,” making positive contributions to epidemic prevention and control.
Xia Yanjun conducted on-site inspections at industrial and commercial enterprises such as Shijiazhuang No. 4 Pharmaceutical, examining the production of epidemic prevention drugs and the expedited customs clearance of imported epidemic prevention materials. He also gained a detailed understanding of the supply and pricing of essential daily necessities, masks, and disinfectant products. Furthermore, he convened an on-site meeting of the Market Supply and Regulation Task Force to make specific arrangements for further enhancing related work.
Xia Yanjun pointed out that all levels of government departments and enterprises must go to great lengths to secure supply sources, strengthen reserves, and expand production, making every effort to ensure the supply of essential materials. They should organize connections between producers and consumers to guarantee the normal supply of daily necessities such as vegetables, and crack down rigorously on any practices of driving up prices. They should also integrate overseas resources, step up procurement efforts, keep “green channels” open, and expedite customs clearance of imported epidemic prevention supplies. Furthermore, they should enhance support services, streamline the approval process for epidemic prevention medicines and equipment, and provide support to pharmaceutical companies in expanding production, thereby maximizing the ability to meet emergency needs.
