On January 29, responsible officials from the Hebei Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology and the Shijiazhuang Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology successively conducted in-depth on-site investigations and provided guidance at the company’s oral dosage form workshop, specifically at the abidol production line, to oversee the organization of production for clinical emergency medicines used against the novel coronavirus pneumonia.
On January 29, responsible officials from the Hebei Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology and the Shijiazhuang Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology successively conducted on-site investigations and provided guidance at the company’s oral dosage form workshop, specifically at the Abidol production line, to oversee the organization of production for clinical emergency medicines used in the treatment of pneumonia caused by the novel coronavirus infection.
Relevant officials from the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology have gone deep into enterprises to coordinate and guide the organization of emergency medicine production.
Relevant officials from the provincial and municipal departments of industry and information technology listened to briefings from Wu Hengyao, General Manager of the company, and Han Shuqin, Deputy General Manager, regarding the production and stockpiling of emergency medications for combating the epidemic. Officials from the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology expressed heartfelt admiration for the selfless dedication shown by the employees of Siyao, who put the greater good above their own families at a critical moment.
Since the outbreak of pneumonia caused by the novel coronavirus infection, the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology has been working wholeheartedly to ensure the supply of epidemic prevention materials and equipment. It has actively organized manufacturing enterprises across the province to fully resume operations, mobilizing all employees to ramp up production at full capacity and significantly boost market supplies. The provincial department’s staff also dispatched 22 personnel to companies such as Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical to serve as epidemic response managers, supervising production and providing guidance. Additionally, the department has instructed industrial and information technology authorities in various cities to closely monitor production progress, promptly coordinate and resolve issues related to raw material supply, production funding, labor resources, product transportation, and other essential factors required by enterprises. This effort aims to help businesses overcome practical difficulties and challenges, ensure the quality and safety of emergency supplies, and guarantee timely supply from enterprises.
General Manager Wu Hengyao and Deputy General Manager Han Shuqin requested the Department of Industry and Information Technology to coordinate and address urgently needed issues, including the difficulties employees face in returning to work after the Chinese New Year, insufficient supply of raw and auxiliary materials, and restrictions on road transportation within the region. In response, relevant officials from the provincial and municipal departments of industry and information technology stated that, given the current situation, pharmaceutical companies must step up production efforts, do their utmost to ensure supply, and make every possible contribution to winning the battle against the epidemic. Regarding the challenges currently faced by enterprises, the departments will actively coordinate resources from all sectors, promptly propose solutions and measures, and help companies accelerate production.
