The epidemic is a rallying cry, and Party members must take the lead. In recent days, at the production site of Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., where Party members have been stepping up to support the fight against the epidemic, countless Party members have honed their original aspirations and fulfilled their missions with full enthusiasm and a sense of responsibility, demonstrating their firm confidence and determination to resolutely win the battle against the epidemic.
The epidemic is a rallying cry, and Party members must take the lead. In recent days, at the production site of Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., where Party members have been stepping up to support the fight against the epidemic, countless Party members have refined their original aspirations and fulfilled their missions with full enthusiasm and a sense of responsibility, demonstrating their firm confidence and determination to resolutely win the battle against the epidemic.
Rong Yanyan, the workshop director of the oral dosage form production facility at Shisi Pharmaceutical, stayed at her post during this special Spring Festival, directing frontline production.
“At a time like this, if not us Party members, who else is going to step up?” On January 29, Rong Yanyan, the workshop director of the oral dosage form production line for Abidol capsules at Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical, had reddened eyes and a slightly hoarse voice from working continuously for many days. “During the Spring Festival, on the one hand, we’ve been coordinating personnel and materials; on the other hand, we’ve been ramping up production capacity. Currently, daily output has nearly doubled compared to normal days—this really has been quite demanding.”
Since the outbreak of the novel coronavirus infection pneumonia epidemic, Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical’s oral dosage form production has entered a “wartime state.” To ensure the timely supply of emergency medicines, the Party Committee of No.4 Pharmaceutical issued an initiative calling on all Party members to be the most admirable “reverse travelers,” playing their part and making every possible contribution to winning the battle against the epidemic.
“As communists, we must take the lead and rise to this serious challenge.”
“This is precisely the time for Party members to set an exemplary and leading example—we are both confident and capable of winning this battle.”
……
After the initiative was launched, Party members volunteered enthusiastically, requesting to “join the battle” on the front lines of production and the market.
“Producing a bit more emergency medicine means providing an extra layer of protection for those on the front lines, and it gives everyone greater confidence in overcoming the epidemic.” Rong Yanyan is the director of the oral dosage form workshop at the Shijiazhuang Fourth Pharmaceutical High-tech Zone plant, and also a Party member with five years of membership. Since the outbreak began, she has put aside opportunities to reunite with her family, entrusting her young child to her mother-in-law’s care, and immediately rushed to her workplace to oversee production.
At the disinfectant production post, most of the operations are performed manually, requiring workers to bend over for long periods. By the end of a shift, many find themselves with sore backs and aching legs. Yet none of the Party members—such as Tian Lili, Yang Junhong, and Liu Ning—who steadfastly hold their posts have ever complained of hardship or fatigue.
Tian Lili (left), deputy director of the oral dosage form workshop at Shijiazhuang Fourth Pharmaceutical, goes deep into the packaging station in the workshop to rigorously ensure the quality of Abidol capsules.
“As a Party member, the epidemic is our call to arms—we must take the lead and charge forward,” said Tian Lili, deputy director of the oral dosage form workshop, who has 18 years of Party membership. She has spent nearly 30 years working in the oral dosage form production area and has experienced major epidemic battles such as SARS, H1N1 influenza, and avian influenza.
Li Ligong, manager of the Storage and Transportation Department at Shijiazhuang No. 4 Pharmaceutical Company, gave up reuniting with his family during the Spring Festival and worked continuously, doing everything possible to arrange transportation vehicles. He has successfully completed three batches of pharmaceutical delivery missions to support Wuhan’s frontline epidemic prevention and control efforts.
There are both “veterans” who have fought in countless battles and “new recruits” who are just starting out.
Li Ligong, the manager of the Storage and Transportation Department at Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical Company, joined the Party in December 2016 as a “newcomer.” After the outbreak of the epidemic, Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical’s Storage and Transportation Department transformed from an enterprise’s business support unit into the frontline force rushing to aid the epidemic prevention and control efforts. On January 24—the eve of the Lunar New Year—upon receiving an urgent order to provide assistance to the Wuhan epidemic area, he promptly returned to his post and remained there for six consecutive days, directing and coordinating the dispatch of products. He successfully completed the transportation and logistical support mission for emergency medicines destined for the frontlines of Wuhan’s epidemic prevention and control, earning high praise from customers who commended the company’s “excellent transportation and logistics support.”
“At critical moments, a Party member’s Party spirit is put to the test—wherever there’s a need, that’s exactly where we should be,” said Li Ligong. Over the past few days, the team from the Storage and Transportation Department, from Party members to ordinary employees, has been rushing to the frontline of epidemic prevention and control, quietly making selfless contributions and putting into practice, through their actions, the original aspirations and mission of pharmaceutical professionals.
Yan Li, Deputy Manager of the Storage and Transportation Department at Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical, remains steadfast at her post to ensure that emergency medications are dispatched promptly.
“Although I have children and elderly family members myself, I feel it’s my duty to step forward and do my part in winning this battle against the epidemic as soon as possible.” Faced with the pandemic, Yan Li, a Communist Party member and deputy manager of the Storage and Transportation Department, also stepped up without hesitation: “As long as the epidemic isn’t brought under control, I won’t take a single day off.”
“This battlefield, invisible yet fraught with unseen smoke, is not only a test of Party members’ original aspirations and missions but also a litmus test of their combat effectiveness,” said Shi Jianhui, Secretary of the company’s Party Committee, his expression firm. “At critical moments, Party members must step forward and charge ahead, fulfilling the tasks entrusted to us by the Party, the government, and the enterprise—and ensuring that the Party flag flies high on the front lines of pharmaceutical production for epidemic prevention and control!”
To those who are fighting hard to win the battle against the epidemic prevention and control.
A salute to all Party members and employees on the production front line!
