The outbreak of pneumonia caused by the novel coronavirus has deeply touched the hearts of hundreds of millions of Chinese people. To implement the requirements of higher authorities and comprehensively strengthen the organizational leadership of the prevention and control efforts against the novel coronavirus pneumonia, the company established a Leading Group for Novel Coronavirus Pneumonia Prevention and Control on January 27, which is fully responsible for the company’s epidemic prevention and control work. The Leading Group is headed by General Manager Wu Hengyao.
The outbreak of pneumonia caused by the novel coronavirus infection has deeply touched the hearts of hundreds of millions of Chinese people. To implement the requirements of higher authorities and comprehensively strengthen the organizational leadership of the prevention and control efforts against the novel coronavirus pneumonia, the company established a Leading Group for Novel Coronavirus Pneumonia Prevention and Control on January 27, which is fully responsible for the company’s epidemic prevention and control work. The leading group requires all departments to demonstrate a high sense of political responsibility and maintain the proper political stance, firmly and unswervingly implementing the Party and government’s decisions and arrangements for current epidemic prevention and control, and resolutely winning the tough battle against the epidemic. It is essential to strengthen awareness of the critical importance and urgency of epidemic prevention and control efforts, enforce accountability, and ensure thorough implementation through measures that are “strict, meticulous, practical, and comprehensive.” In accordance with the provincial-level response requirements, we must step up our efforts in epidemic prevention and control, doing everything possible to safeguard the life safety and health of every employee in the company.
The leading group has made specific arrangements for effectively controlling and preventing the novel coronavirus pneumonia within the company. First, thorough disinfection of the factory premises must be carried out. In accordance with the “Technical Guidelines for Preventive Disinfection of Novel Coronavirus Pneumonia in Public Places (Trial),” all areas within the factory shall be disinfected, with designated personnel responsible and daily records kept. Second, close attention must be paid to personnel entering from or having contact with epidemic areas. A careful investigation should be conducted to identify individuals who have visited Wuhan or had contact with those traveling to and from Wuhan within the past 14 days. Such individuals are required to closely monitor their own health conditions, measure their body temperature daily, and ensure that no cases are missed or concealed. Individuals with no known contact history should minimize participation in group activities and pay close attention to their body temperature. Third, health monitoring of employees on business trips must be strengthened. In particular, health monitoring of personnel traveling to and from Wuhan should be intensified; health information and contact details must be recorded, and any suspicious cases promptly reported. According to established procedures, such individuals should be promptly transferred to designated hospitals for isolation and treatment. Fourth, comprehensive community-based prevention and control measures must be implemented. Control checkpoints should be set up at the entrances of factory premises and workshops to carry out routine production monitoring as well as temperature checks on both on-site employees and visitors, conduct personnel screening, and collect and report relevant information. At the same time, various channels should be fully utilized to widely disseminate public education on infectious disease prevention and control, thereby effectively enhancing the collective preventive and control capabilities of enterprise employees.
