To better serve our employees, the Party Committee and the Trade Union of Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. have taken proactive steps, conducting thorough on-site surveys to fully understand the cultural needs of our staff. In light of the company’s production and operational arrangements, they’ve carefully planned and organized a series of heartwarming cultural and sports activities—including badminton tournaments, birthday cake deliveries, and movie ticket giveaways—aimed at enabling employees to fully experience the company’s care and warmth, boosting their enthusiasm for work, and giving them extra motivation to contribute even more to the company’s development.

Not long ago, after the union posted a notice announcing badminton activities, it greatly energized employees—especially young single workers. The union’s consultation and registration hotline received calls nonstop. “Before organizing this activity, our Party and Mass Work Department conducted a questionnaire survey among all employees. The results showed that badminton is one of the most popular activities among our staff. To enrich employees’ leisure and cultural lives, enhance their sense of unity and cohesion, and following careful deliberation by the enterprise Party committee and the union, we’ve decided to organize recreational and fitness badminton events for employees, with the ‘Si Yao Cup’ badminton tournament tentatively scheduled for early August,” said Ma Nannan, a union official.

It was introduced that the employee activity venue is located at a badminton court across from Mingzhu Park, not far from the company. Employees can walk there in just a few minutes after work. The activities will run from now until mid-July, every Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., with each session limited to two hours.

With everyone’s favorite sports already in place, an exciting piece of news has recently been circulating among the company’s employees: The union will issue a birthday cake card to each active, on-duty employee. “We’ve already coordinated with a bakery to custom-make 10-inch cream-and-fruit cakes featuring the company’s logo. In this way, we’ll extend our heartfelt birthday wishes—from both the company and the union—to our employees,” said Ma Nan Nan. It is understood that, for the convenience of employees, the birthday cakes will be distributed in the form of cards. Employees themselves can pick up their cards every Friday before their birthdays by presenting their original ID cards and proof of employment at the Party and Mass Work Department.

In addition, according to the head of the company’s union, to enrich the leisure and cultural lives of employees, the company has also purchased movie tickets for nearly 4,000 employees. Taking into full consideration employees’ residential locations and scheduling constraints, these movie tickets are valid at five cinemas within the city and can be used until the end of this year. Employees can choose to watch movies at the nearest cinema according to their own availability. “You can even watch in the VIP lounge!” an employee who had just seen a movie excitedly told his colleagues.
