Just after the Spring Festival, Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical Group has once again delivered good news in R&D innovation: On January 29, the group’s newly developed and submitted Terbutaline Sulfate Injection (1 ml: 0.5 mg) received the drug production registration approval from the National Medical Products Administration, making it the third domestic manufacturer to obtain such approval—and it is also considered as having passed the consistency evaluation. This marks the fifth new product production approval that Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical Group has secured in the first month of this year.
Just after the Spring Festival, Shijiazhuang Fourth Pharmaceutical Group has once again delivered good news in R&D innovation: On January 29, the group’s newly developed and submitted Terbutaline Sulfate Injection (1 ml: 0.5 mg) received the drug production registration approval from the National Medical Products Administration, making it the third domestic manufacturer to obtain such approval—and it is also considered as having passed the consistency evaluation. This marks the fifth new product production approval that Shijiazhuang Fourth Pharmaceutical Group has secured in the first month of this year.
It is understood that Terbutaline Sulfate Injection is a Class 3 new chemical drug, primarily indicated for the prevention and relief of bronchial asthma as well as reversible bronchospasm associated with bronchitis and emphysema.
Previously, in 2021, Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical Company’s Class 4 new chemical drug—Terbutaline Sulfate Solution for Nebulization (2 ml: 5 mg)—obtained the drug production registration approval from the National Medical Products Administration, becoming the second domestic company to receive such approval and being deemed as having passed the consistency evaluation. Also in the same year, the active pharmaceutical ingredient Terbutaline Sulfate submitted by Hebei Guolong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the group, was granted a manufacturing license.
