On December 20, Taizhou City held an on-site observation event for the "Three Comparisons and One Enhancement" project construction. Zhu Lifan, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, and Lu Peimin, Chairman of the Municipal Political Consultative Conference, led a delegation to visit 15 key project sites, including Jiangsu Bosheng Medical New Materials Co., Ltd. under Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group. The visit aimed to further rally the entire city to focus intensely on and prioritize major projects, thereby injecting new momentum and building new advantages for fully advancing Taizhou’s new practice of Chinese-style modernization.

The visit aimed to further rally the entire city to focus intensively on major projects and drive greater synergy in project development, thereby providing new momentum and building new advantages for fully advancing Taizhou’s new practice of Chinese-style modernization.
On the same day, Wan Wenhua, Mayor of Taizhou City, and Zhang Yusong, Director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People’s Congress, led a delegation to observe the construction progress of the Bosheng Medical Devices project undertaken by Shijiazhuang Fourth Pharmaceutical Group.
Zhu Lifan and his delegation arrived in Xinghua City and observed the 6,000-ton annual production project of medical multilayer co-extruded films undertaken by Jiangsu Bosheng Medical New Materials Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group in Xinghua.
The Bosheng Medical New Materials Project is an expansion initiative of the company, with a total investment of 500 million yuan. Its primary products include disposable multilayer co-extruded biomembranes and other high-end medical membrane materials, primarily used in fields such as cell culture, vaccine development, and biopharmaceutical production. The project has introduced globally leading, complete production processes specifically designed for biomembranes, filling a domestic gap in this area. Currently, the main construction of the project has been completed, and trial production is underway.
Zhu Lifan took a close look at the company’s products and technological innovations, and fully affirmed Boshi Medical Devices’ achievements in areas such as technological upgrades, entry into the capital market, and the development of new growth drivers. He said that new medical materials play a unique and promising role in the development of the greater health industry. He expressed hope that the company would further enhance its R&D capabilities, develop flagship products, establish a first-mover advantage, set an industry benchmark, and propel Boshi Medical Devices’ products beyond China to reach the global market, accelerating its transition from import substitution to world-class excellence and opening up broader horizons for future development. The company should also step up its efforts to enter the capital market, demonstrating the value of transformation and upgrading through competition and emulation, and actively promote the deep integration of innovation chains, industrial chains, capital chains, and talent chains, thereby giving the company wings for soaring growth.
At the construction sites of 15 major projects, we witnessed 15 vivid examples of high-quality development. Throughout the day, participants had a packed schedule and came away with abundant insights. They delved into the bustling construction sites of each project, listening to briefings, observing key details, identifying gaps, pinpointing shortcomings, learning from others’ experiences, and reflecting on how to effectively implement these lessons. This created a strong atmosphere of earnestly pursuing and delivering real projects, bolstering everyone’s confidence and determination to drive development through project implementation.
After a day of study and observation, everyone unanimously expressed their commitment to thoroughly studying and implementing the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the spirit of the Central Economic Work Conference. They pledged to fully carry out the guiding principles from the Third Plenary Session of the 14th Provincial Party Committee and the Fourth Plenary Session of the 6th Municipal Party Committee, further intensify efforts to attract investment projects, and promote project construction with even higher quality. By striving for excellence through emulation and competition, they aim to deliver tangible results in transformation and upgrading, thereby providing strong impetus for comprehensively advancing the new practice of Chinese-style modernization in Taizhou.
