On November 1, Wan Wenhua, Mayor of Taizhou City, visited Xinghua City for a research trip. He also went deep into enterprises such as Jiangsu Bosheng Medical New Materials Co., Ltd. of Shijiazhuang Sihua Group, as well as towns and industrial parks, to conduct on-site inspections of industrial development.
On November 1, Taizhou Mayor Wan Wenhua conducted a research visit to Xinghua City and paid close attention to enterprises such as Shijiazhuang Siheng Pharmaceutical Group Jiangsu Bosheng Medical New Materials Co., Ltd., as well as townships and industrial parks, conducting on-site inspections of industrial development. Wan Wenhua emphasized the need to earnestly study, publicize, and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. Following the strategic plans and deployments of the provincial and municipal Party committees, we must adhere to green development, strengthen specialized industries, and more vigorously promote the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries as well as the robust growth of emerging industries, thereby building momentum and empowering high-quality economic development and making greater contributions to the province’s efforts to “take on greater responsibilities.”
At the group’s Bosheng Medical Materials workshop, which has an annual production capacity of 6,000 tons of medical multilayer co-extruded films, Wan Wenhua listened carefully to a briefing from the company’s head on matters including production and operations, R&D innovation, and project construction. Wan Wenhua encouraged the company to focus on the cutting edge of technology and industry, continuously innovate, constantly enhance its core competitiveness, and drive the company toward the high-end segments of the value chain.
During his research tour in Xinghua City, Wan Wenhua pointed out that we must earnestly study, publicize, and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Party, firmly put into practice the major requirements of “containing the epidemic, stabilizing the economy, and ensuring safe development,” efficiently coordinate epidemic prevention and control with economic and social development, strengthen the barrier against the epidemic, and strive wholeheartedly for the best possible outcomes in achieving the annual economic development goals.
Wan Wenhua emphasized that, in line with the municipal party committee’s strategic layout of “building one industrial system and four distinctive industrial clusters,” we must further enhance industrial competitiveness, deepen park reforms, and boost enterprise innovation to build momentum and gather strength for high-quality economic development. We must unswervingly regard project construction as the key driver for stabilizing growth, adjusting structure, and strengthening economic dynamism, intensifying chain-based investment attraction, business-to-business investment promotion, and “first-person” leadership in investment promotion. We should continue to attract large, strong, new, and high-quality enterprises, continuously improve the quality and efficiency of investment attraction, and strive to generate more tangible work results. We must adhere to green development, leverage our advantages in location, ecology, and other resources to create distinctive industrial clusters, promote industrial iteration and upgrading, and endeavor to forge a new path where economy and ecology mutually integrate, coexist, and advance together. We must comprehensively advance digital and intelligent empowerment initiatives, dedicate ourselves to building a number of model enterprises and model projects, establish more demonstration sites and support points, and drive the deep integration of the digital economy with the real economy.
Qian Zhong, Secretary-General of the Taizhou Municipal Government, participated in the research study.
