Recently, the azithromycin dry suspension developed by Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. has been granted a drug registration certificate by the National Medical Products Administration and is considered to have passed the consistency evaluation, making it the first domestic pharmaceutical company to receive such approval.
Recently, the azithromycin dry suspension developed by Shijiazhuang Fourth Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. has been granted a drug registration certificate by the National Medical Products Administration and is considered to have passed the consistency evaluation, making it the first domestic pharmaceutical company to receive such approval.
It is reported that azithromycin dry suspension is a second-generation macrolide antibiotic, primarily used to treat lower respiratory tract infections such as bronchitis and pneumonia caused by susceptible bacteria, as well as skin and soft tissue infections, acute otitis media and sinusitis, pharyngitis, and tonsillitis—upper respiratory tract infections.
The approval of this azithromycin dry suspension will help the company diversify its dosage forms, optimize its product mix, accelerate the transformation of its supply-side structure, and further promote its high-quality development. As of now, Shijiazhuang Fourth Pharmaceutical Group has a total of 27 varieties and 36 specifications of products that have either passed or been deemed to have passed the national evaluation for consistency in quality and efficacy of generic drugs.
