“Success is achieved through talent, and undertakings are broadened by talent.” A series of new talent policies recently introduced by our city have greatly inspired the management team and various talents at Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group, which is at the forefront of industrial development.

“This ‘combination of measures’ for talent development sends a strong signal of recognizing, valuing, respecting, and effectively utilizing talent,” said Su Xuejun, Chairman of Shijiazhuang Fourth Pharmaceutical Group. “The municipal Party committee and government have adopted a forward-looking vision, placing talent development at the very heart of industrial growth. Taking this as an opportunity, our group will leverage our own unique strengths to actively attract and nurture high-caliber, outstanding talents, thereby further promoting innovative, high-quality development and accelerating our pace of enterprise transformation, upgrading, and leapfrogging.”

In recent years, Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical has focused on innovation and internationalization, targeting the forefront of first-generic drug and innovative drug research and development, and has comprehensively advanced its product and technology strategies across lines including first-generic drugs, innovative drugs, and complex formulations. As the industrial chain continues to expand, the demand for and development of top talent have become crucial for enterprises to optimize their product portfolios and promote higher-level growth.

According to Su Xuejun, since last year, while enjoying various preferential policies from the government, enterprises have also made it convenient for top-notch employees and leaders of research projects to purchase commercial housing and provided them with free transportation. These genuinely thoughtful measures have won unanimous praise from all kinds of talented individuals.

These “unprecedented” incentives have attracted more high-level talents to join Siyao. Recently, Siyao has signed contracts with eight doctoral students from prestigious Chinese universities such as Tsinghua University, Fudan University, and Ocean University of China, and has also entered into employment agreements with over 20 master’s students from institutions including Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Beijing University of Technology, Nankai University, and University of Science and Technology Beijing. Moreover, more than 50 recent undergraduate graduates from universities such as China Pharmaceutical University and China University of Mining and Technology will soon be joining Siyao. The results of talent recruitment are truly “unprecedented,” and the “talent flock effect” is beginning to take shape.

“Good policies and a favorable atmosphere have created an ideal environment for ‘building nests to attract phoenixes,’ which are powerfully propelling enterprises onto the ‘highway’ of innovation-driven development,” said Su Xuejun. Currently, Siyao has as many as 200 new products in development, and talent-driven initiatives continue to inject fresh momentum into Siyao’s growth.

“The municipal Party committee and municipal government have introduced a series of new talent policies to support industrial development, further strengthening our confidence and determination to accelerate our progress and catch up with advanced regions,” said Su Xuejun. He added that their next step will be to put extra pressure on themselves, take the initiative, and fully mobilize and leverage the talents of outstanding individuals. With innovative achievements that deliver tangible results, they will strive to make new contributions to helping the city’s total economic output exceed one trillion yuan and to achieving a breakthrough in the biopharmaceutical industry ahead of others.
