“As a high-level innovation and entrepreneurship talent in Shijiazhuang, I have received financial and policy support from the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government. I’ve conducted in-depth research on key technologies in the pharmaceutical field and achieved innovative results,” said Sun Lijie, CEO of Shijiazhuang Siyao and General Manager of its R&D Center, when discussing our city’s talent policies.

I’ve conducted in-depth research on key technologies in the pharmaceutical field and achieved innovative results,” said Sun Lijie, CEO of Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical and General Manager of its R&D Center, when discussing our city’s talent policies.
Based on the recognition of our city’s talent policies, Sun Lijie led his company team to focus on innovative R&D mechanisms, strengthen R&D efforts on major special projects, break down technological barriers, and develop highly innovative, high-value-added products for the enterprise. He spearheaded the research and development of a quality-control technology system for soft packaging of large-volume intravenous solutions, which won the First Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress in Hebei Province and has now been successfully applied to actual drug R&D work.
Led by Sun Lijie, the team has successively collaborated with top-tier institutions—including academician teams, Tianjin University, Tsinghua University, and China Pharmaceutical University—to develop innovative drugs. The team is striving to achieve corporate transformation and upgrading, aiming to move steadily into the forefront of domestic pharmaceutical R&D. Currently, the team is developing several Class 1 new drug candidates, among which the innovative drug ADN-9 holds great promise to fill the gap in treatments for liver fibrosis. At the same time, the team has begun working on the development of novel formulation technologies, collaborating with research institutes to create long-acting and targeted drug formulations such as microspheres, microcrystals, and liposomes.
After benefiting from the government’s talent support policies, Sun Lijie said: “The company now places even greater emphasis on talent development. By leveraging existing talent-development platforms—such as key collaborative units with academicians, postdoctoral workstations, and Nobel Prize-winning researcher workstations—we have already cultivated 102 high-level talents and recruited more than ten doctoral researchers.”
