Recently, the Science and Technology Bureau of Shijiazhuang City announced the list of newly established municipal-level industrial technology research institutes for 2022, selecting and approving 25 new municipal-level industrial technology research institutes. Shijiazhuang Siyao Co., Ltd. has been approved to establish the Shijiazhuang Municipal Industrial Technology Research Institute for Sterile Preparations of Chemical Pharmaceuticals.
Recently, the Science and Technology Bureau of Shijiazhuang City announced the list of newly established municipal-level industrial technology research institutes for 2022, selecting and approving 25 new municipal-level industrial technology research institutes. Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. has been approved to establish the Shijiazhuang Municipal Industrial Technology Research Institute for Sterile Preparations of Chemical Drugs.
It is reported that the Shijiazhuang Municipal Industrial Technology Research Institute is established under the leadership of “chain-leading” enterprises or backbone enterprises registered within the Shijiazhuang area, in collaboration with domestic and international universities, research institutes, and enterprises related to the industrial chain. The institute is oriented toward industrial development and aims to enhance industrial technological innovation capabilities and market competitiveness by integrating relevant scientific and technological innovation resources, conducting technological innovation across the entire industrial value chain, and carrying out activities such as R&D and integration of common and critical technologies for the industry, transfer and commercialization of scientific and technological achievements, provision of industrial technical services, introduction and cultivation of talent, and strategic research on industrial development. The construction period for the municipal industrial technology research institute is two years. Upon completion of the construction period, the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau will conduct acceptance testing of the institute’s construction tasks and indicators as specified in the project application and task book. Those that pass the acceptance test will be incorporated into the management system and participate in the performance evaluation of municipal industrial technology research institutes. Those that fail the acceptance test will have their designation revoked.
As a key backbone enterprise in the pharmaceutical industry in Shijiazhuang, Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical boasts a first-class drug R&D platform in China. It has established a nationally recognized Enterprise Technology Center and a National-Local Joint Engineering Laboratory, demonstrating strong scientific research capabilities. The newly approved Shijiazhuang Chemical Drug Sterile Preparations Industry Technology Research Institute will focus on the field of sterile preparations for chemical drugs, integrating scientific and technological resources from universities, research institutes, and upstream and downstream enterprises in the industry. It will carry out research and development of common and critical technologies, break through technical bottlenecks hindering industrial development, generate a series of innovative achievements with independent intellectual property rights, and enhance the autonomous innovation capacity of this specialized industry.
“Next, we will closely focus on the primary objectives of building the municipal-level Industrial Technology Research Institute, and start with areas such as R&D of common and critical industrial technologies, technology transfer, technical services, and talent cultivation. We will establish a seamless research chain spanning technology, process, product development, and application, continuously elevating the level and sophistication of industrial development, and contributing the strength of Sihua Pharmaceutical to accelerating breakthroughs in our city’s biopharmaceutical industry and building a trillion-yuan-level industrial cluster,” said the head of the Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical R&D Center.
