Recently, the cefaclor dry suspension and metronidazole tablets, both submitted by Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., have been approved by the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) following the evaluation of generic drug quality and therapeutic equivalence. Additionally, the sitagliptin dry suspension, which was recently developed and submitted for approval, has been included on the NMPA’s list of priority review products.
The spring breeze in April is warm, and innovative “flowers” are blooming brilliantly. Recently, the cefaclor dry suspension and metronidazole tablets—both submitted by Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.—have been approved by the National Medical Products Administration following the evaluation of generic drug quality and therapeutic equivalence. The cefaclor dry suspension is primarily used to treat infections caused by susceptible strains, while the metronidazole tablets are mainly indicated for the treatment and prevention of infections caused by anaerobic bacteria.
It is also reported that the stipecol dry suspension, developed and submitted by Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., has recently been included on the National Medical Products Administration’s list of priority review products. This marks the first time a product developed and submitted by the company has been listed under this category, and it represents the company’s sole submission in China. According to available information, the stipecol dry suspension is a rare disease drug tailored to the physiological characteristics of children, primarily used for the treatment of severe myoclonic epilepsy in children.
Currently, Shijiazhuang Four Pharmaceutical has 22 varieties and 30 specifications of products that have either passed or been deemed to have passed the consistency evaluation.
