On March 7, the Office of the Shijiazhuang Municipal Committee for Work Safety announced and commended the advanced units that excelled in the 2021 work safety target management assessment. Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. was recognized as an advanced unit in work safety.

In 2021, Shijiazhuang Fourth Pharmaceutical fully implemented the various decisions and deployments on work safety issued by the national, provincial, municipal, and district authorities. It vigorously promoted key initiatives such as large-scale safety inspections and rectifications, a three-year special campaign for targeted improvements, and the construction of a “dual-control” mechanism. As a result, the company successfully achieved all its work safety targets and reported zero production safety incidents throughout the year. While strengthening its foundational safety management, Shijiazhuang Fourth Pharmaceutical continuously reinforced its safety management team, consistently enhancing the competence of personnel in their respective positions and improving management effectiveness. The company also deepened the standardization of work safety practices and proactively integrated the “dual-control system” into critical processes and high-risk areas, particularly conducting specialized safety training at the frontline team level. Moreover, it fostered a strong safety culture through extensive publicity and education efforts and actively pursued the designation as a provincial-level demonstration enterprise for safety culture.
Last year, Shijiazhuang No. 4 Pharmaceutical Company had one employee obtain the Hebei Province Standardization Reviewer Certificate for Work Safety, one employee appointed as an expert in the expert pool by the China Chemical Safety Association, the Hebei Emergency Management and Work Safety Association, and the Shijiazhuang Municipal Emergency Management Bureau, one employee passing the National Registered Safety Evaluator Examination, five employees passing the National Registered Safety Engineer Examination, and one employee awarded the title of Distinguished Specialized Instructor by “Labor Protection,” a magazine supervised by the Ministry of Emergency Management. Several articles sharing experiences in work safety construction and management were promoted by publications including “China Emergency Management News,” “Hebei Work Safety,” “Labor Protection,” “Chemical Industry Management,” and “Shijiazhuang Daily.”
