On June 12, the Party Committee of Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. organized more than 40 Party members to visit Pingshan, a sacred revolutionary site, to study Party history, deepen their understanding of Party principles, retrace the footsteps of the red revolution, remember the glorious journey, uphold our original aspirations and mission, and muster up high spirits as we set out anew.

As we warmly celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, on June 12, the Party Committee of Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. organized more than 40 Party members to visit Pingshan, a sacred revolutionary site, to study Party history, deepen our understanding of its guiding principles, retrace the footsteps of the red revolution, cherish our glorious journey, uphold our original aspirations and mission, and muster up high spirits for a fresh start. This was a special Party Day activity organized by the Party Committee of Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. as part of its celebrations marking the 100th anniversary of the Party’s founding and as an integral component of its Party history study and education efforts.

In front of the square of the former site museum of the Central United Front Work Department in Lijiazhuang, Pingshan, all Party members solemnly raised their right fists toward the bright red Party flag and reaffirmed their入党 oath. Each word carried immense weight, firm as iron; the resounding and majestic oath powerfully moved every Party member present. Every single word was sacred and heroic, and the solemn vows deeply expressed their unwavering loyalty and love for the Party, as well as their firm conviction to dedicate their entire lives to the cause of communism.

Li Jiazhuang is nestled against mountains and beside waters, boasting picturesque landscapes and a glorious historical legacy that continues to inspire awe. At the former site of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Central Committee, party members listened attentively to the guide’s heartfelt explanations and viewed a series of vivid and moving historical photographs as well as precious cultural relics. Through these experiences, they gained a deeper understanding of Li Jiazhuang’s pivotal role in the history of the Chinese Communist Party’s united front, and they were profoundly moved by the spirit of mutual trust and unwavering solidarity displayed by the CPC and the elder-generation leaders of various democratic parties—standing together through thick and thin, sharing both joy and adversity.

Visiting revolutionary holy sites is a way to carry forward the red spirit. Shi Jianhui, Secretary of the Party Committee of Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., stated: “Throughout the past century, our original aspiration has only grown stronger with time. The Chinese Communist Party has followed the trend of historical development and bravely shouldered the historic mission of achieving national independence, liberating the people, and ensuring both national prosperity and the happiness of the people. Over the past century, no matter how the global situation has changed, we have remained steadfast in our lofty ideals, never ceasing our struggle. With concrete and compelling evidence, we have eloquently demonstrated why the Chinese Communist Party can succeed, why Marxism works, and why socialism with Chinese characteristics is so effective. As Communist Party members in the new era, we must draw strength from studying Party history, stay true to our original aspirations, fulfill our duties conscientiously, and set out anew with a renewed sense of purpose.”

“Without the Communist Party, there would be no New China…”—a clear and rousing song rang out from the square outside the Cao Huoxing Memorial Hall. The powerful voice of the song echoed the original aspiration. More than 40 Party members gathered in the hometown of Cao Huoxing, the composer of the lyrics and music for “Without the Communist Party, there would be no New China,” and sang together with fervent devotion, expressing their boundless loyalty and love for the Party, as well as their lofty aspirations and sense of mission to shine even brighter under the Party flag from their respective posts. Wu Bin, a postdoctoral researcher at the R&D Center of Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., said emotionally: “The history of the Party is the best textbook—it teaches us to hold fast to our faith and strive relentlessly forward. As a Party member engaged in scientific research, I must learn from the older generation of Communists their unwavering spirit of struggle and dedication. I will identify shortcomings in my work through the lens of the new development philosophy, remain down-to-earth and seek truth from facts, continuously achieve breakthroughs in scientific research, and contribute to the health of the people. With my professional expertise, I will do my utmost to add luster and brilliance to the Party flag.” Today, at the R&D Center of Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., where Wu Bin works, 34 Communist Party members have devoted themselves to the forefront of scientific research and innovation, shouldering heavy responsibilities and tackling tough challenges. They are targeting the cutting edge of new drug development, actively pursuing research on small-molecule chemical drugs, novel drug delivery systems, and generic drug product lines—especially focusing on globally disruptive innovations, breakthrough therapeutic agents, and milestone new drug targets for major diseases. With their youth, wisdom, and sense of responsibility, they are charting a new course for the company’s product structure adjustment and transformation and upgrading. Currently, Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical has nearly 200 products under development, including several first-class new drugs. The company’s innovative capabilities have drawn widespread attention within the industry.

The Party Day activities have deeply educated the Party members. Everyone expressed that conducting these themed Party Day activities has further strengthened their Party spirit and provided another spiritual cleansing for their hearts. They pledged to faithfully uphold the vows made under the Party flag, constantly holding themselves to the high standards of an outstanding Communist Party member, firmly believing in our cause, working diligently and responsibly, and bravely taking on responsibilities. They resolved to carry forward and promote the Party’s glorious traditions and fine style, stay committed to their current posts, fully demonstrate the exemplary role of Party members, put the Party member’s original aspirations and mission into concrete actions, and celebrate the Party’s centenary with outstanding achievements.

Since the launch of Party history study and education, the Party Committee of Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical has, in light of local conditions and the times, organized a series of special Party classes, online Party history quizzes, and the selection of “Two Excellent and One Pioneer” models. It has also arranged for Party members to conduct on-site study tours to revolutionary holy sites. Furthermore, it has carried out in-depth publicity and education activities under the theme “Red Inheritance Reflects Our Original Aspirations—Party Flags Fly at the Front Lines,” thereby inspiring Party members and employees to embrace the spirit of “working for the Party, taking responsibility for the country, and dedicating ourselves to our posts.” These efforts have boosted the company’s efforts in tackling R&D challenges, market challenges, capacity challenges, and technological challenges, helping the company achieve “over half” targets in both key areas and accelerating its journey toward innovative, green, and high-quality development.
