On November 18, Long Fenjie, Party Secretary and Director of the Hebei Provincial Department of Science and Technology, visited and conducted a research tour of the Shijiazhuang High-Tech Industrial Development Zone, and chaired a symposium to hear reports on the technological innovation efforts of the high-tech zone and key resident enterprises such as Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical. Relevant officials from Shijiazhuang City and the Shijiazhuang High-Tech Zone also participated in the research tour.
After visiting and studying the park’s R&D activities, incubator development, and enterprise cultivation and operations, Long Fenjie chaired a symposium. Relevant officials from the Shijiazhuang High-tech Zone reported on the zone’s development and construction progress. Leading representatives from key enterprises stationed in the zone, including Su Xuejun, Chairman of Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical, shared information about their companies’ production, operations, and technological innovation efforts. Long Fenjie praised the achievements made by the key enterprises in the High-tech Zone in strengthening scientific and technological innovation.
Long Fenjie emphasized that the high-tech zone must adhere to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, accelerate innovative development, build innovation platforms, support enterprises’ independent innovation, strengthen the cultivation of scientific and technological talent, and make concerted efforts to enhance the capacity for scientific and technological innovation. All provincial science and technology departments should earnestly implement the important decisions and deployments of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government, fully leverage the role of enterprises as the main innovators, stimulate the innovative vitality of talented individuals, wage tough battles to master critical core technologies, improve the efficiency of transforming scientific and technological achievements into industrial applications, strengthen service and support for scientific and technological innovation, refine and concretize tasks and work plans, and propel Hebei’s construction as an innovation-driven province to a new level.
