According to a report from China Business News, Hebei Edition, the Hebei Provincial Development and Reform Commission announced recently that, in accordance with the work arrangements of the provincial Party committee and provincial government and under the joint guidance of four departments—the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, the Provincial Department of Science and Technology, the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, and the Provincial Administration for Market Regulation—the Hebei High-Tech Industry Association has released the 2021 List of Top 100 Innovative Enterprises in Strategic Emerging Industries in Hebei Province. Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. ranked 31st on the list.
The top 100 innovative enterprises in Hebei Province’s strategic emerging industries in 2021 are leading and backbone enterprises in the province’s key sectors of strategic emerging industries. They serve as the core force driving technological innovation, tackling critical technical challenges, and achieving breakthroughs in vital industry technologies. These enterprises play a crucial supporting role in building a modern industrial system across the province and realizing high-quality economic development. In terms of geographical distribution, these enterprises cover all 11 prefecture-level cities and Dingzhou City in our province. Among them, Shijiazhuang ranks first with 19 enterprises, Baoding second with 17, and Tangshan third with 16. As for sector distribution, the enterprises span key areas of strategic emerging industries, including next-generation information technology, high-end equipment manufacturing, biopharmaceuticals and health, new materials, new energy and smart grid equipment, new-energy vehicles, and energy conservation and environmental protection. Among these, the top three sectors are: new-energy vehicles with 23 enterprises, new energy with 18, and biopharmaceuticals and health with 17. Regarding innovation performance, the top 100 enterprises collectively obtained 3,500 authorized patents in 2020, averaging 35 patents per enterprise. Of these, 650 were invention patents, averaging 6.5 invention patents per enterprise.
In recent years, our province has annually organized and released a list of the Top 100 Innovative Enterprises in Strategic Emerging Industries across the province, guiding more high-quality resources from society to concentrate on leading enterprises and channeling more innovation factors toward backbone companies. This initiative has supported these enterprises in accelerating their development and growing stronger, yielding positive overall results and generating strong public response. It has fully unleashed the development vitality, innovation drive, and growth potential of various market entities.
