On the occasion of the 98th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the speech contest exhibition event titled “Youth Hearts Turn to the Party—Making Contributions in a New Era” was held at the Qiushi Theater of No. 2 Middle School in Shijiazhuang City.

On the occasion of the 98th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the showcase event for the “Youth Hearts Turn to the Party—Making Contributions in a New Era” speech contest was held at the Qiushi Theater of No. 2 Middle School in Shijiazhuang City. Wang Shaohua, member of the Municipal Party Committee and head of the Publicity Department, attended the showcase event and presented awards to the winners. Chen Jing, a contestant from our company, whose speech titled “Staying True to Our Original Aspiration and Following the Party—Making Youthful Contributions in a New Era” made it into the final round of the speech contest and won third prize.

More than 500 young League members from all fronts listened to presentations on topics such as “Rooted and Soulful—A Brighter Youth,” “Stay True to Our Original Aspirations and Follow the Party—Building a New Era with Our Youth,” and “Youth with Ambition—Firmly Steadfast in Our Loyalty to the Party.” The contestants’ brilliant speeches earned enthusiastic applause from the audience.

The “Youth Hearts Turn to the Party—Making Contributions in a New Era” speech contest attracted active participation from 103 grassroots League organizations, with over 3,000 young people from various sectors taking part. After several rounds of selection, 106 contestants from frontline grassroots units, enterprises, institutions, and schools advanced to the finals of the Shijiazhuang City “Youth Hearts Turn to the Party—Making Contributions in a New Era” speech contest on June 23rd. The competition awarded 3 first-prize winners, 5 second-prize winners, 15 third-prize winners, 65 excellence awards, and 15 outstanding organization awards. This contest has ignited patriotic enthusiasm among young people, strengthened their ideals and convictions, and reinforced their determination to study diligently, love their jobs and excel in their work, strive hard, and contribute through concrete actions to building a modern provincial capital and a strong economic city.
