Recently, the “Drug Quality Traceability Platform Based on the Industrial Internet” project of Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. was designated by the Hebei Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology as the first of 50 demonstration projects for the 2021 Industrial Internet Innovation and Development Pilot Program.
Recently, the “Drug Quality Traceability Platform Based on the Industrial Internet” project of Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. was designated by the Hebei Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology as the first of 50 demonstration projects for the 2021 Industrial Internet Innovation and Development Pilot Program, marking that Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical is at the forefront of its industry in Hebei Province in terms of the deep integration of the internet and advanced manufacturing.
The Industrial Internet Innovation and Development Pilot Demonstration Projects are designed to deeply implement the spirit of the State Council’s “Guiding Opinions on Deepening the Development of the Industrial Internet through ‘Internet Plus Advanced Manufacturing,’” as well as to ensure the effective implementation of our province’s “Implementation Opinions on Promoting the Deep Integration of the Internet with Advanced Manufacturing and Accelerating the Development of the Industrial Internet.” These projects focus on the innovation and demonstration application of new technologies, new models, and new business forms in the industrial internet. A group of pilot demonstration projects with strong development foundations, excellent innovation models, and significant promotional value will be reviewed and selected. Through pilot initiatives and demonstration leadership, we will explore and develop new, replicable, and scalable models and business forms, thereby promoting the innovative development of the industrial internet and facilitating the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing sector. The pilot demonstration projects are determined through a process involving voluntary applications by enterprises, review and recommendation by municipal bureaus of industry and information technology, expert evaluation organized by the provincial department, and subsequent research and confirmation.
“The ‘Drug Quality Traceability Platform Based on the Industrial Internet’ developed by Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical is an intelligent quality tracking and control system built using industrial internet technologies within the framework of the company’s overall informationization architecture. This platform covers the entire pharmaceutical lifecycle—from production and inspection to warehousing, transportation, and sales,” said a relevant official from Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical. “By constructing subsystems such as the Laboratory Information Management System & Laboratory Execution System (LIMS&LES), Warehouse Management System (WMS), and Supply Chain Management System (SFMS), and integrating them with the ERP system’s production data, we can automatically capture key data from each stage related to product quality and establish a feedback loop. This enables us to build and develop an intelligent allocation, traceability, and smart decision-making center that seamlessly connects the company’s quality, inspection, logistics, and end-customer departments. As a result, we’ve been able to enhance and elevate the overall level of application of quality management and traceability modules in our smart factory, achieving deep integration between the industrial internet and advanced manufacturing and driving the company’s transformation and upgrading.”
