On May 13, the second training session for newly elected deputies to the 13th Provincial People's Congress was launched at Hebei Normal University. More than 240 deputies to the 13th Provincial People's Congress, as well as officials from the standing committees of municipal and county-level people's congresses, representing seven electoral units including Baoding and Cangzhou, attended the training. Su Xuejun, a deputy to the Provincial People's Congress and General Manager of the Group Company and President of Hebei Guangxiang Pharmaceutical, also participated in the training activities. This training adopted a combination of special reports, introductions to practical experience in performing duties, and interactive discussions. Officials from relevant departments of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress, as well as experts from the Hebei Administrative College, were invited to deliver lectures on topics such as the system of the people's congresses, laws and regulations, and the performance of deputies' duties.

Officials from relevant departments of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress, as well as experts from the Hebei Administrative College, have been invited to provide specialized guidance on topics including the people’s congress system, laws and regulations, and the performance of deputies’ duties. In addition, outstanding deputies who have served multiple terms have been invited to share their experiences in fulfilling their duties.
It was introduced that this year marks the first time the Standing Committee of the Provincial People’s Congress has relied on higher education institutions to conduct training for deputies, achieving full coverage of initial training for newly elected deputies to the 13th Provincial People’s Congress.
