As soon as the notice about the union’s badminton event was posted, it sparked great excitement among employees—especially those who love sports—and inquiries and registration calls to the union kept pouring in.
“Before launching this activity, our Party and Mass Work Department conducted a questionnaire survey among all employees. The statistical results showed that badminton is one of the most popular activities among our staff. To enrich the employees’ leisure cultural life and enhance their sense of unity and cohesion, the Party Committee and the Trade Union of the company have jointly decided to organize recreational and fitness badminton activities for employees. We’re tentatively scheduling the ‘Si Yao Cup’ Badminton Tournament for early August,” said Ma Nannan, a trade union official.
It was introduced that the employee activity venue was chosen to be a badminton hall located across from Mingzhu Park, not far from the company. Employees can walk there in just a few minutes after work. Recently, an exciting piece of news has been circulating among employees: the union will issue a birthday cake card to each active, on-duty employee.
“This is real—we’ve already coordinated with a cake shop to custom-make 10-inch cream-and-fruit cakes featuring the company logo, so we can extend our birthday greetings to our employees in this special way,” said Ma Nannan, a union official.
It is understood that, for the convenience of employees, birthday cakes will be distributed in the form of gift cards. Employees themselves may collect their gift cards every Friday during the week preceding their birthdays by presenting their original ID card and proof of current employment to the Party and Mass Work Department.

Recently, every employee of the company happily received movie tickets. According to reports, in order to enrich the employees’ leisure and cultural lives, the company purchased movie tickets for nearly 4,000 employees.
