Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. enjoys a long-standing, friendly cooperative relationship with China Pharmaceutical University. As a key national “Double First-Class” university in China that excels in both teaching and research in the field of pharmacy, China Pharmaceutical University has achieved remarkable and fruitful results in talent cultivation and pharmaceutical R&D. The signing of a strategic cooperation agreement and the establishment of a joint laboratory with China Pharmaceutical University mark another solid step forward in our collaboration between the university and the company.
This strategic cooperation between Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical and China Pharmaceutical University is anchored in project development, leveraging the complementary strengths of both parties in terms of project resources and talent. It focuses on the company’s industrial development strategy, targeting innovative needs such as novel compounds and innovative small-molecule targeted drugs. Through the establishment of a joint laboratory, the collaboration will encompass a range of practical initiatives, including technical guidance for generic drug development, evaluation of innovative drug pipeline projects, and joint R&D of breakthrough therapies. This partnership aims to cultivate a high-caliber talent pool for innovation, significantly enhance the company’s overall efficiency and capability in innovative drug R&D, and prioritize the transfer, licensing, and commercialization of innovative results within the company itself. The goal is to have more than five first-in-class new drugs enter clinical trials within 2 to 3 years and to achieve large-scale production of even more first-in-class new drugs within 3 to 5 years. This initiative will accelerate the transformation of the company’s supply-side structure, facilitating its shift from a “single-industry focus” to a “multi-industry balanced approach,” and thereby driving and boosting the high-quality development of our province’s biopharmaceutical industry.

Su Xuejun, Chairman of Shiyao Group, and Lu Tao, Vice President of China Pharmaceutical University, signed the strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of their respective sides.
