This June marks the 20th National “Safety Production Month,” with the theme “Fulfill Safety Responsibilities and Promote Safe Development.” To further advance the activities of Safety Production Month, implement safety responsibilities, foster a safe, healthy, and harmoniously developing production environment, and support enterprises’ high-quality development, Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group held a safety production knowledge competition on June 24. The event was attended by Wu Hengyao, President of the Group; Wei Wenliang, Executive President; Song Mingxia, Chairperson of the Trade Union; Wu Ling, Deputy General Manager of the Manufacturing Center; directors of various workshops; and over a hundred employees.

Nine teams from workshops and departments participated in this competition. The competition consisted of four rounds: mandatory questions, buzzer questions, risk questions, and bonus questions. The content covered a wide range of topics, including laws and regulations on safe production, fire safety knowledge, emergency rescue procedures, and management of hazardous chemicals. Additionally, after each round, interactive questions were introduced to encourage employee participation, ensuring that every employee had the opportunity to take part in the quiz环节.
The atmosphere at the competition venue was lively and thrilling. Each participating team was full of vigor and high spirits, and every contestant displayed great energy and composure in their responses. Throughout the competition, the nine teams went head-to-head, fiercely competing without showing any sign of weakness. The intense battle unfolded with contestants delivering outstanding performances, earning frequent rounds of applause from the audience below.

After two hours of intense competition, the team from the Security Department delivered an outstanding performance and won first prize. The teams from the Storage and Transportation Department and the Property Management Department each took home second prize, while the teams from Workshop 102, Workshop 202, and Workshop 203 each received third prize.

The head of the Group’s Security Department stated that by using knowledge competitions—a fun and engaging educational approach—they can popularize knowledge about safe production, educate and guide employees to actively and voluntarily participate in safety initiatives, enhance their sense of responsibility and urgency regarding safety production, and further elevate their safety awareness. Moving forward, the Security Department will continue to effectively carry out various activities such as publicity and education, inspections, and drills—focusing on regular implementation and emphasizing routine efforts. They will adhere to the principles of “regularity” and “long-term commitment,” persistently and continuously working toward building a long-term mechanism for safety culture promotion and education, thereby helping to elevate the Group’s overall level of safe production.

Group President Wu Hengyao pointed out that this safety knowledge competition has played a significant role in widely promoting and popularizing knowledge about safe production, as well as in fostering the standardization and normalization of safety production efforts. All employees should regard safe production as their top priority and take this knowledge competition and the series of activities during Safety Month as opportunities to integrate the company’s safety culture into their daily safety production practices, thereby creating a strong safety-conscious atmosphere in which everyone learns about safety, talks about safety, ensures safety in everything they do, and maintains safety everywhere. We must continuously strengthen our learning of safety production knowledge, comprehensively enhance our safety and health awareness as well as our professional ethics, and further solidify the foundation of safe production. Through extensive publicity, we need to ensure that every employee clearly recognizes the importance of safety precautions, prompting a shift from “simple awareness” to “deep understanding,” from “it doesn’t concern me” to “it concerns me deeply,” and from “I need to be safe” to “I want to be safe.”
