On September 23, the Hebei Provincial Department of Science and Technology released the first list of leading science and technology enterprises in Hebei Province, with 34 companies—including Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.—making the cut.
It is reported that the selection of leading technology enterprises in Hebei Province aims to identify a group of backbone high-tech enterprises that demonstrate strong innovation capabilities, significant leadership roles, high R&D standards, and promising growth potential. To qualify for the selection, enterprises must have achieved main business revenues of 500 million yuan (inclusive) or more in the previous year and must have shown steady growth over the past three years. These enterprises should rank among the top nationwide in terms of market share within their specific industry segments, exert a notable ripple effect and drive innovation throughout the industrial chain, and have become leading enterprises that spearhead the development of regional specialty industries. Additionally, their research and development expenditures must account for at least 3% of their main business revenues during the same period, they must possess core independent intellectual property rights, and they must demonstrate continuous capacity for creating intellectual property and commercializing research results, placing them at the forefront of R&D capabilities within their respective industries.
According to relevant regulations of our province, recognized leading technology enterprises will receive priority support for initiatives such as the Provincial Major Achievement Transformation Program, the Key R&D Program, and the Construction of Innovation Platforms. Specifically, major achievement transformation projects and key R&D projects undertaken by these leading technology enterprises will be eligible for financial support from the provincial science and technology funds.

The company has either led or participated in the formulation of 46 pharmaceutical standards, as well as standards for drugs and pharmaceutical packaging materials, playing a demonstrative role in the industry. To date, Shi Si Pharmaceutical has filed a total of 141 national patent applications and obtained 49 authorized invention patents, providing strong support for the company’s high-quality development.
