On August 30, the 2020 (37th) National Pharmaceutical Industry Information Conference, hosted by the China Pharmaceutical Industry Information Center, opened in Zhuhai. The highly anticipated 2019 Top 100 Chinese Pharmaceutical Companies list was officially unveiled. Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. ranked 67th on the list of China’s Top 100 Pharmaceutical Companies. Additionally, the company was honored as the Best Industrial Enterprise for Pharmaceutical R&D Product Lines in China for 2020, bringing well-deserved recognition to our province’s biopharmaceutical industry.
The “Top 100 Chinese Pharmaceutical Companies of the Year” selection, undertaken by the China Pharmaceutical Industry Information Center, is the most authoritative and socially influential professional ranking in China’s pharmaceutical industry. The selection is based on national statistical data and takes into account indicators such as companies’ innovative new drugs, rational business layout, growth potential, and market focus. Rankings are determined based on industrial enterprise legal entities, giving the selection high authority and guiding significance within the industry. Overall, in 2019, the total scale of the Top 100 Chinese pharmaceutical companies reached 929.64 billion yuan, hitting a new record high. The sector as a whole showed a growth rate of 10.7%, with overall revenue continuing to post double-digit annual growth rates.
In 2019, Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical demonstrated a rapid and steady development trend, accelerating its transformation and upgrading, continuously optimizing its industrial structure, and establishing clear competitive advantages. Its development path has shifted from scale-driven growth to innovation-driven growth. Net profit and profit-and-tax indicators grew at a faster rate than output value and revenue indicators, and both its innovation capability and industrial concentration reached new heights. Compared with its own performance in the previous year, it made significant progress, climbing 8 places higher in the rankings.
