On July 25, 200,000 boxes containing 2.4 million capsules of abidol hydrochloride—a antiviral drug—produced by Shijiazhuang Fourth Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., were smoothly delivered to Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, helping the country fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
On July 25, 200,000 boxes containing 2.4 million capsules of abidol hydrochloride—a antiviral drug—produced by Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., were smoothly delivered to Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, helping the country fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
Currently, the global COVID-19 pandemic continues to spread. In response to the evolving epidemic situation overseas, Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical, a leading pharmaceutical enterprise, is actively ramping up production capacity and supplying the international market while ensuring the domestic supply of epidemic prevention and control medications.
On July 17, the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan placed an urgent order with Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical Company for hydrochloride abidol capsules—a critical medicine for epidemic prevention and control. Upon receiving the order, Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical Company promptly organized stock preparation and urgently arranged air freight procedures. Employees from various departments—including foreign trade, production workshops, quality inspection, and warehousing & transportation—worked in close coordination, staying late into the night to complete the export procedures for this shipment in the shortest possible time. On July 21, a container truck loaded with the goods departed from Shijiazhuang directly for Shanghai Customs and was immediately loaded onto a flight bound for Uzbekistan.
It is understood that Abidol Hydrochloride Capsules are a flagship product of Shijiazhuang Fourth Pharmaceutical and have played a positive role in the current COVID-19 prevention and control efforts. On February 19, they were included in the "Diagnosis and Treatment Protocol for Novel Coronavirus Pneumonia (6th Edition)."
Currently, Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical has reached preliminary agreements with more than 10 international partners for the export of anti-epidemic drugs. It has already shipped nearly 3 million capsules of abidor hydrochloride to several countries including Russia and Uzbekistan, and over 100,000 bottles of hand sanitizers to countries such as Australia.
