A Letter of Gratitude from a Thousand Miles Away

On March 21, the office of Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. received a letter of thanks from the Committee of the Communist Party of China in Shennongjia Forestry District—located thousands of miles away—as well as a donation certificate from the Shennongjia Forestry District Charity Association. This once again expressed their heartfelt gratitude for Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical’s selfless support and assistance provided to the Shennongjia Forestry District during the pandemic.
On March 21, the office of Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. received a letter of thanks from the Committee of the Communist Party of China in Shennongjia Forestry District—located thousands of miles away—as well as a donation certificate from the Shennongjia Forestry District Charity Association. These documents once again expressed gratitude for Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical’s selfless support and assistance provided to the Shennongjia Forestry District during the pandemic.
After the state established the mechanism for paired assistance, the Hebei Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce attached great importance to it and convened a special meeting to study the work of providing paired assistance to the Shennongjia Forestry District. It also actively coordinated with and contacted relevant private enterprises to encourage their participation in the paired assistance effort.
On the evening of February 12, after learning about the news that support supplies were being sent to the Shennongjia Forestry District in Hubei Province, Su Xuejun, Vice President of the Hebei Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce and Chairman of Shijiazhuang Siyao Co., Ltd., immediately coordinated with the provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce and the Shennongjia Forestry District Federation of Industry and Commerce to understand the specific needs. Upon discovering that the district’s designated hospital was facing a shortage of emergency medications, he personally arranged for the transfer of moxifloxacin hydrochloride sodium injection—a reserve medication—from the company’s stockpile to donate to the Shennongjia Forestry District. At the same time, he also coordinated the donation of 2,000 boxes of Abidol capsules to the Provincial Zhongji Poverty Alleviation Foundation for distribution to the forestry district.
After coordinated communication, the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce, in collaboration with the Hebei Zhongji Poverty Alleviation Foundation, Shijiazhuang Siyao Co., Ltd., and Shijiazhuang Yiling Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., jointly donated 500,000 yuan in cash and pharmaceuticals worth another 500,000 yuan—totaling 1 million yuan—to the Shennongjia Forestry District in Hubei Province, to support local epidemic prevention and control efforts.
