Fighting the epidemic and dedicating genuine care have become the shared sentiment of the company’s employees.
On February 27, to support the COVID-19 prevention and control efforts, Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. issued a donation appeal to all Party members and employees, which received an enthusiastic response from the majority of Party members and employees.
▲On the morning of March 7, the Hebei Provincial Red Cross Society accepted targeted donations from employees of Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., which will be used for epidemic prevention and control efforts by Hebei’s medical assistance team sent to Hubei Province and by the designated hospitals in the provincial capital that are treating COVID-19 patients.
“Where the Party calls, I’ll take action.” Qu Jiguang, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Shijiazhuang Four Pharmaceutical Group, immediately expressed to the company’s Party committee his desire—as an old Party member—to make a donation. Coincidentally, that very day was also the birthday of Wu Yuqing, a publicity officer in the Party and Mass Work Department who had just started working not long ago. A bowl of instant noodles served as her personal blessing; she donated every single penny she’d saved from her food allowance. Han Huijuan, the packaging team leader in the oral dosage form workshop, is expecting her second child. She and her husband are both employed, and although they currently have many financial needs, both she and her husband have enthusiastically made donations within their respective workshops. “Medical workers risk their lives without hesitation, even willing to sacrifice their own lives to save patients—what’s a small donation compared to that?!” At Shijiazhuang Four Pharmaceutical, these small acts of kindness are coming together to create a powerful wave of warmth among the employees.

In just a few days, Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical Company received donations totaling 244,097.66 yuan from Party members and employees. Among this amount, the 24,910 yuan donated by Party members was promptly remitted to the higher-level Party organization.
In recent days, the vast majority of employees at Shijiazhuang Fourth Pharmaceutical have channeled their enthusiasm and energy—sparked by the fight against the epidemic—into both epidemic prevention and control and innovative development. All production lines have been fully operational, and output and sales have swiftly returned to pre-epidemic levels. With great confidence, employees are now making a vigorous push to achieve a strong start in the first quarter.
It is also reported that Shiyao Group has already donated emergency medical supplies worth 2.57 million yuan to areas including Wuhan, Hubei Province, and the Shennongjia Forestry District.
