On the morning of February 20, Li Xuerong, a member of the Standing Committee of the Shijiazhuang Municipal Party Committee, Executive Deputy Mayor of the Municipal Government, Executive Deputy Head of the Municipal Leading Group for COVID-19 Prevention and Control, and Director of the Group’s Office, conducted a research visit to the Shijiazhuang Economic and Technological Development Zone. She also visited production enterprises such as Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. to gain an in-depth understanding of epidemic prevention and control measures as well as the resumption of work and production.

He also visited production enterprises such as Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. to gain a deeper understanding of their COVID-19 prevention and control measures as well as their resumption of work and production. He emphasized that, while continuing to do a solid job in epidemic prevention and control, it is essential to steadily and effectively promote the resumption of work and production at enterprises and to carefully plan for their future development.
At Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical, he gained a detailed understanding of the production and supply situation of the antiviral drug abidol hydrochloride capsules, as well as the planning and construction of new projects and the development of new products. He encouraged the company to ramp up production at full capacity to ensure supply, accelerate project construction, and further enhance efficiency and build stronger momentum for future growth.
After listening to the report on the current progress of work in the Shijiazhuang Economic and Technological Development Zone, Li Xuerong pointed out that we must demonstrate a passionate commitment to getting things done and vigorously push forward project construction. We need to align ourselves closely with the requirements set forth by the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government, streamline our institutional framework, accelerate reform, and carefully plan for future development in all aspects.
He stressed that it remains essential to strengthen scientific and coordinated planning, promote the orderly resumption of work and production at enterprises, rigorously implement all prevention and control measures, enhance internal enterprise management and safety education for employees, and further improve safety production in key sectors such as hazardous chemicals. It is also crucial to intensify coordination and services to help enterprises overcome practical difficulties related to funding, transportation, and raw material supply, thereby making greater contributions to ensuring a strong start for the city’s economy.
