On February 17, Liu Jinsong, Chairman of the Hebei Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce and President of the Provincial General Chamber of Commerce, along with Ma Qiang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce, led a delegation to Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. for a research visit and to extend condolences to the company’s employees and entrepreneurs who are working on the front lines of the fight against the epidemic.
Wherever they went, Liu Jinsong and his delegation expressed their heartfelt condolences to the enterprise employees who are fighting on the front lines of the epidemic response. They thanked everyone for steadfastly holding their posts, working overtime, and making silent sacrifices—contributions that have been instrumental in stabilizing the supply of pharmaceuticals on the front lines of epidemic prevention and control and ensuring the health and safety of the people.
Liu Jinsong and his delegation went deep into the production workshop to gain a detailed understanding of the company’s current production and operational status, as well as the challenges it faces, such as tight supplies of raw materials and disruptions in logistics and transportation. They also listened carefully to a briefing by Su Xuejun, Vice President of the Provincial General Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of Shijiazhuang No. 4 Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., on how the company has demonstrated courage and taken proactive measures in fighting the epidemic.
Since the outbreak of the epidemic, Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical has actively responded to the call from the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce, earnestly fulfilling its social responsibilities as a corporate citizen. At the earliest opportunity, the company donated emergency medicines—including 2.15 million yuan worth of Abidol hydrochloride capsules and moxifloxacin hydrochloride sodium injection—to key hospitals for epidemic prevention and control in Wuhan City and the Shennongjia Forestry District, thereby effectively ensuring the medication needs of frontline anti-epidemic personnel.
Liu Jinsong emphasized that everyone must further unify their thinking and enhance their awareness, leaving no room for even the slightest slackening. It is crucial to ensure that frontline employees take effective measures to protect their own health and guarantee a safe resumption of production and work. During this critical period in the fight against the pneumonia epidemic, we hope that enterprises will continue to stabilize and expand production, improve efficiency, and boost capacity, thereby contributing the strength of private enterprises to winning the battle against the epidemic. Party organizations within private enterprises should fully play their role as fighting fortresses; party members and cadres should take the lead, dare to shoulder responsibilities, and truly serve as exemplary models. It is also important to promptly publicize and commend outstanding role models and touching stories.
Liu Jinsong also urged the accompanying colleagues to establish regular communication channels with enterprises, promptly assist them in coordinating and resolving practical difficulties and issues encountered in production and operations, and ensure that enterprises complete their epidemic prevention and control tasks on time, with guaranteed quality and quantity.
