As dusk falls and the cold wind howls, employees of Guangxiang Pharmaceutical Group, located in the Bohai New Area of Cangzhou, remain steadfastly on the front lines. As a key project aimed at accelerating the group’s transformation and upgrading and enabling it to leapfrog its competitors, Guangxiang Pharmaceutical’s active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) project received GMP certification last September. APIs such as caffeine, theophylline, and metronidazole—highly specialized ingredients—have now fully entered mass production, drawing widespread attention within the industry. Gao Shuping, a director of the group and chairwoman of Guangxiang Pharmaceutical, said, “Guangxiang has just started operations, and we’ve just heard President Xi’s inspiring New Year message.
