Shijiazhuang Fourth Pharmaceutical Group has once again delivered good news in R&D innovation: on May 8, two active pharmaceutical ingredients were approved on the same day! The group’s applications for Urapidil Hydrochloride and Tofacitinib Citrate APIs have been approved by the National Medical Products Administration and officially registered as APIs used in marketed formulations. Thus far this year, the group has secured approval for a total of seven API varieties.

Thus far this year, the group has secured approval for a total of seven API varieties.
It is understood that uradil hydrochloride is primarily used to treat hypertension, especially severe hypertension. Tofacitinib citrate is mainly used to treat rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis.
It is reported that, as of now, the group has obtained 24 approvals for various new products this year, and its development efficiency continues to remain at a leading level in the industry.
