To further promote high-quality development of China’s pharmaceutical industry, the “China Pharmaceutical Industry Quality Star Enterprise and Quality Star Figure” selection event—hosted by the China Pharmaceutical Quality Management Association and organized by the Pharmaceutical Economic Report, affiliated with the Southern Institute of Pharmaceutical Economics under the National Medical Products Administration—was solemnly announced on February 21 during the 34th National Pharmaceutical Economic Information Conference. Liu Qingping from Shijiazhuang Fourth Pharmaceutical Group was awarded the prestigious title of “2022 China Pharmaceutical Industry Quality Star Figure.”
To deeply promote high-quality development of China’s pharmaceutical industry, the “China Pharmaceutical Industry Quality Craftsmen and Stars” selection event—hosted by the China Pharmaceutical Quality Management Association and organized by the Pharmaceutical Economic Report, affiliated with the Southern Institute of Pharmaceutical Economics under the National Medical Products Administration—was solemnly announced on February 21 during the 34th National Pharmaceutical Economic Information Conference. Liu Qingping from Shijiazhuang Fourth Pharmaceutical Group was honored with the title of “2022 China Pharmaceutical Industry Quality Craftsman and Star.”
2022 was an exceptionally extraordinary year. Faced with the volatile fluctuations in supply and demand in the pharmaceutical market, Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical, as one of the backbone enterprises in the pharmaceutical industry, actively put into practice its business philosophy of “serving the people with quality and upholding integrity as our foundation.” It has consistently kept firmly in mind that drug quality and safety are the lifeblood of enterprise development, ensuring a win-win situation of both quality and output in boosting production, guaranteeing supply, and meeting market demands.
As the head of quality and the authorized quality representative at Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Liu Qingping has remained true to her original aspiration for 28 years, dedicating herself wholeheartedly to quality management. Each year, she personally leads and participates in the approval and release of over 60,000 batches of raw materials, excipients, and finished products. For more than a decade consecutively, the company’s products have consistently met all standards in market spot checks, making Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical’s infusion products a benchmark in the industry. She has spearheaded and led research on several Shijiazhuang municipal science and technology research and development projects, including “Research and Application of a New Type of Dual-Chamber Liquid Packaging for Amino Acid Glucose Injection Solution” and “Industrial Development of Sodium Acetate Ringer’s Injection Solution.” The projects she has led have successively earned the Certificate of Scientific and Technological Achievements from the Hebei Provincial Department of Science and Technology and received the First Prize of the Hebei Province Pharmaceutical Industry Science and Technology Progress Award. Her outstanding contributions have helped the company become one of Hebei Province’s advanced enterprises focused on quality and efficiency, a model enterprise for quality improvement during Hebei Province’s Quality Month activities, and a recipient of the Hebei Provincial Government Quality Award.
Faced with this honor, Liu Qingping stated that drug quality and safety are the lifeline of any enterprise—and the key to winning and sustaining a competitive edge in the market. The task of ensuring drug quality is both immense and long-term.
