During the Beginning of Spring, good news keeps coming in. On February 6, the tinidazole submitted by Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical Group was approved by the National Medical Products Administration and registered as an active pharmaceutical ingredient for use in marketed formulations.

On February 6, tinidazole, submitted by Shijiazhuang Fourth Pharmaceutical Group, has been approved by the National Medical Products Administration and registered as an active pharmaceutical ingredient for use in marketed formulations.
This represents another significant achievement in the development of active pharmaceutical ingredients, following the simultaneous approval on February 2 of the group’s Class III new chemical drugs—ornidazole injection (3 ml: 0.5 g and 6 ml: 1 g) and lipoic acid injection (24 ml: 600 mg). To date, the group has secured approval for nine new products this year.
It is reported that tinidazole is primarily indicated for sepsis and respiratory tract infections caused by anaerobic bacteria.
The approval of this tinidazole active pharmaceutical ingredient will play a positive role in advancing the Group’s “API + Formulation” development strategy and accelerating the deep integration of the innovation chain with the industrial chain.
