On January 29—the eighth day of the first lunar month—under the warm spring sunshine, Shijiazhuang Fourth Pharmaceutical Group held a grand press conference to unveil its 2023 strategic objectives. Middle- and senior-level managers from all the group’s centers, business divisions, and subsidiaries gathered together, pooling their wisdom and energy to chart a new blueprint for high-quality enterprise development in the coming year and strive to write a new chapter of leapfrog development in the new era. Group leaders Qu Jiguang, Su Xuejun, Wu Hengyao, and others attended the meeting, which was chaired by Shi Jianhui.
Gathering our strength for new goals and setting sail once again. On January 29—the eighth day of the first lunar month—under the radiant spring sunshine, Shijiazhuang Fourth Pharmaceutical Group held a grand launch event for its 2023 strategic objectives. Middle- and senior-level managers from all the group’s centers, business divisions, and subsidiaries gathered together, united in spirit and determination to outline a new blueprint for high-quality enterprise development in the coming year and strive vigorously to write a new chapter of leapfrog development in the new era. Group leaders Qu Jiguang, Su Xuejun, Wu Hengyao, and others attended the meeting, which was chaired by Shi Jianhui.
At the meeting, Wu Hengyao, President of the Group, delivered a work report on the formulation of 2023 guidelines and objectives. He systematically reviewed the Group’s production and operational performance in 2022 and provided an explanation of the preparation process for the 2023 guidelines and objectives.
The heads of the Pharmaceutical Division, Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient Division, R&D Center, Finance and Information Center, Manufacturing Center, Central Procurement Center, Strategic Development and Human Resources Center, Equipment and Environmental Protection Center, Engineering Management Center, and Safety Management Center—as well as the key executives from subsidiaries including Guangxiang Pharmaceutical, Guolong Pharmaceutical, Youyi Chemical, Bosheng Medical Devices, and Hanlin Technology—each delivered a detailed report on the 2023 strategic goals and tasks, specific implementation measures, innovative work initiatives, and timelines for key projects. Group leaders Qu Jiguang, Su Xuejun, Wu Hengyao, and others provided comments and guidance.
After listening to the release of strategic goals and initiatives from various centers, business units, and subsidiaries, Qu Jiguang, Chairman of the Group’s Board of Directors, put forward requirements and expressed his hopes for the 2023 business operations. He pointed out that in 2022, the Group’s employees demonstrated courage in dedication, responsibility, and struggle, overcoming numerous challenges and achieving new breakthroughs, making fresh progress, and delivering outstanding results in areas such as R&D innovation, market development, project construction, quality assurance, and safe production. Key economic indicators reached record highs. In particular, facing the most severe and complex challenges since the start of the pandemic three years ago, our employees remained steadfast at their posts and fought continuously, embodying the great spirit of anti-pandemic efforts through their practical actions. We sincerely commend and highly honor each and every one of them for their extraordinary contributions. Regarding the successful execution of business operations in 2023, Qu Jiguang emphasized the need to focus on four key areas: First, we must firmly uphold the philosophy that “products are paramount,” intensify efforts to develop and master leading-edge new products, and while maintaining our industry-leading position in the approval and application of generic drugs, promote deeper integration across the innovation chain, industrial chain, and value chain. Second, we must embrace the mindset that “the market is king,” set our sights on the ambitious goal of reaching 10 billion in revenue, and while sustaining our leading position in the infusion product manufacturing and sales sector, strive for breakthroughs in marketing for oral formulations, aqueous injection preparations, active pharmaceutical ingredients, and pharmaceutical packaging materials. Third, we must firmly adopt the concept that “projects are paramount,” and with high starting points, stringent standards, and top-notch quality, vigorously advance a batch of key technological upgrade projects, thereby building momentum and gaining a competitive edge for the group’s future development. Fourth, we must firmly establish the principle that “management is paramount,” thoroughly carry out training and promotion of advanced management practices such as “Three Zeros,” “Five Supports,” and “Seven Focuses,” and further refine and improve the performance evaluation management systems, frameworks, and mechanisms that align with the group’s rapid growth. We must accelerate the enhancement of our refined management capabilities and seek greater efficiency through scientific management.
The great way is simplicity itself; practical action is paramount. In his speech, Su Xuejun, Chairman of Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical, emphasized that to fully implement the requirements of the conference, we must adhere to the guiding principles and objectives set forth at the Group’s launch event—“focus on a new positioning, seize new opportunities, explore new avenues, forge new advantages, demonstrate new achievements, and achieve new leaps.” We should coordinate efforts to effectively serve both domestic and international markets, seamlessly integrate R&D innovation with the industrialization of research outcomes, and ensure the continued healthy operation of our business. With firm confidence, self-imposed pressure, relentless hard work, and courageous determination, we will strive to create an even brighter and more glorious future for the Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical Group.
