The three new flagship products—Bunanselin Tablets (4mg), Acetaminophen Mannitol Injection (100ml: 1,000mg), and Levofloxacin Injection (20ml: 0.5g, calculated as C18H20FN3O4)—developed and manufactured by Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., received drug registration certificates issued by the National Medical Products Administration on June 16.
In midsummer, as the aroma of wheat and fruits fills the air, Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical’s R&D efforts are also yielding abundant results and bountiful harvests. On June 16, three new, distinctive, and high-profile products developed and manufactured by Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.—Bunazosin Tablets (4mg), Acetaminophen Mannitol Injection (100ml: 1000mg), and Levofloxacin Injection (20ml: 0.5g, calculated based on C18H20FN3O4)—received drug registration certificates issued by the National Medical Products Administration. This milestone marks that, following continuous optimization of its research system, mechanisms, and talent development, Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical has entered a period of concentrated “harvest” in scientific innovation.
The bupropion tablets recently approved by Shijiazhuang Fourth Pharmaceutical belong to Class 4 of chemical drugs, while the other two injection solutions fall under Class 3 of chemical drugs and are both considered as having passed the consistency evaluation. Among these, the bupropion tablets—primarily used for the treatment of schizophrenia—are the first-ever approved by a domestic pharmaceutical company; the acetaminophen mannitol injection solution, also approved simultaneously, is indicated for relieving fever in adults and is likewise the first such approval granted to a domestic pharmaceutical company; the levofloxacin injection solution is intended for the treatment or prevention of infections proven or highly suspected to be caused by susceptible bacteria.
Over the past two years, Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical has aligned its innovation efforts with the industrial chain, regarding technological innovation as the vital backbone for driving the company’s high-quality development. The company’s R&D investment now accounts for nearly 10% of its main business revenue, effectively propelling it onto the fast track of innovative growth. As of now, this year alone, the company has been approved for 20 new product projects—an average of more than three per month.
