On July 2, Zhang Meizhi, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People’s Congress, visited several enterprises in the city’s High-tech Zone to conduct a research tour. Zhang Meizhi pointed out that every possible effort should be made to help enterprises overcome the challenges they face in production and operation, thereby promoting their healthy and sustainable development.

On July 2, Zhang Meizhi, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People’s Congress, visited several enterprises in the city’s High-tech Zone to conduct a research tour. Zhang Meizhi pointed out that every possible effort should be made to help enterprises overcome the challenges they face in production and operations, thereby promoting their healthy and sustainable development.

Director Si Cunxi of the Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee, accompanied by Deputy Director Li Zhihong, participated in the research visit.

Zhang Meizhi and her delegation visited a series of enterprises—including Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Shijiazhuang Chengzhi Yonghua Display Materials Co., Ltd., and Shijiazhuang Hebai Biotechnology Co., Ltd.—for on-site research. They learned about the enterprises’ production, operations, and epidemic prevention and control measures, as well as the challenges and problems they face, and offered suggestions and guidance to help these companies overcome their difficulties.

Zhang Meizhi emphasized that efforts should be focused on optimizing the business environment, proactively providing high-quality services to enterprises, and supporting their development. Relevant departments should promptly identify the challenges faced by businesses and do their utmost to help enterprises coordinate and resolve existing difficulties and problems. It is essential to establish and improve communication mechanisms, fully leverage functional roles, implement targeted assistance, and provide strong support for enterprise production and operations, serving as a solid backing for their development.

Zhang Meizhi pointed out that several enterprises are continuously stepping up their efforts to foster new growth drivers, focusing on their core industries and constantly strengthening talent development. These enterprises are demonstrating a promising development trend. Moving forward, we must continue to leverage the leading role of scientific and technological innovation, pool resources from all sectors, intensify efforts in scientific and technological innovation and technological upgrades, and cultivate and enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises. We should regard talent development as a crucial component of enterprise growth and provide intellectual support for enterprise development. We must seize opportunities, ride the momentum, adhere to independent innovation, keep pace with the times, and take the lead in the new round of high-quality development, making greater contributions.
