After careful deliberation by the organizing committee, combined with the results of online voting, Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. was awarded the title of “‘Star of the Fight Against the Epidemic’ Most Socially Responsible Pharmaceutical Enterprise,” and Abidol Hydrochloride Capsules were named “‘Star of the Fight Against the Epidemic’ Golden Brick Product.”
Faced with the challenges of the epidemic, no enterprise is an “isolated island.” Providing support to Wuhan and Hubei is far from being just an empty slogan. Since the outbreak began, Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical has resolutely shouldered its social responsibility in epidemic prevention and control, overcoming all difficulties and mobilizing every available resource to do everything possible to ensure the production of key protective medications such as Abidor Hydrochloride Capsules and Moxifloxacin Hydrochloride Sodium Injection. The abidol hydrochloride capsules produced by Shijiazhuang Fourth Pharmaceutical have received considerable attention during the pandemic and have played a positive role in clinical practice. They were subsequently included in the 2019 National Medical Insurance Catalog, listed in the National Health Commission’s “Influenza Diagnosis and Treatment Guidelines (2019 Edition),” and incorporated into the National COVID-19 Diagnosis and Treatment Guidelines (6th and 7th Trial Editions).
During the pandemic, Shijiazhuang No.4 Pharmaceutical Company dispatched a total of 26 vehicle trips to Hubei Province, delivering 3.962 million capsules of abidol hydrochloride, as well as over 500,000 bottles (bags) of emergency medications—including moxifloxacin hydrochloride sodium injection, levofloxacin lactate sodium injection, and various basic infusion solutions—totaling more than 30,000 items. The company also donated funds and supplies worth over 3 million yuan to designated hospitals for COVID-19 treatment in Wuhan and the Shennongjia Forestry District. Additionally, it provided 410,000 bottles (buckets) of disinfectant to Beijing and Tianjin. The company successfully fulfilled its national allocation and provincial storage tasks and received unanimous praise from the Medical Supplies Guarantee Group of the Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism under the State Council for the Novel Coronavirus Pneumonia Epidemic, the Party Committee and government of the Shennongjia Forestry District, the Hubei Provincial Epidemic Command Center, and relevant medical institutions.
