The sales, finance, warehouse, and transportation departments coordinated closely and responded swiftly, promptly completing the outbound procedures. The large truck tasked with delivering 600,000 capsules of Abidol hydrochloride departed from Shijiazhuang at 4 p.m. on February 20 and traveled through the night and into the early hours of the next day. Early on February 21, it arrived at the warehouse of Sinopharm Holding Hubei Company in Wuhan. From receiving the mission order to delivering the emergency medication, Shijiazhuang Sihua Pharmaceutical took less than 39 hours.
“Supporting Hubei is a responsibility that our pharmaceutical company must fulfill. We must address Hubei’s urgent needs and the nation’s urgent priorities, and deliver this batch of medicines to Hubei at the earliest possible moment,” said Qu Jiguang. “Currently, we’ve already prepared the inventory for the second batch of shipments. As soon as the products pass inspection and are deemed qualified, we’ll immediately begin shipping them.”
Abidol Hydrochloride capsules are the flagship antiviral product of Shijiazhuang Fourth Pharmaceutical. Since the outbreak of the pandemic, a total of 2.48 million Abidol Hydrochloride capsules have been sent to Hubei Province, including 2.09 million capsules to Wuhan.
